15:1 Thē cam to Iesus: scrybes and pharises frō Ierusalem/ sayinge: THen came to Iesus scribes & pharises from Ierusalem/ sayinge: THen came to Iesus Scribes & Pharises from Ierusalem/ sayinge: THen came vnto him the scribes and pharises from Ierusalem, sayenge:
15:2 why do thy disciples trāsgresse the tradiciōs of the seniours? for they wesshe not there hondſ/ whē they eate breed: why do thy disciples transgresse the tradiciōs of ye elders? for they wesshe not their hondſ/ when they eate breed. why do thy disciples transgresse the tradiciōs of the elders? for they wesshe not their hondes when they eate breed. Why do thy disciples transgresse ye tradicions of the elders? for they wash not their hōdes whan they eate bred.
15:3 He answered/ and sayde vnto them: why do ye also transgresse the cōmaundmēt of god/ thorowe youre tradiciōs? He answered/ and sayde vnto them: why do ye also transgresse ye cōmaundment of God/ thorowe youre tradicions? He answered & sayde vnto them: why do ye also transgresse the commaundement of God/ thorowe youre tradicions? He answered & sayde vnto thē: Why do ye transgresse the cōmaundemēt of God, because of youre owne tradiciōs?
15:4 for god cōmaūded/ sayinge: honoure thy father ād moder/ ād he that speaketh evyll ayenst hys father or mother/ shall suffer deeth. For God cōmaunded/ sayinge: honoure thy father & mother/ & he that cursseth father or mother/ shall suffer deeth. For God cōmaunded sayinge: honoure thy father and mother and he that cursseth father or mother shall suffer deeth. For God cōmaunded, sayēge: Honoure father & mother: & he yt curseth father & mother, shal dye the death.
15:5 But ye saie/ every mā shall saie to his father or mother: whatsoever thyng I offer/ that same doeth profyt the/ But ye saye/ every mā shall saye to his father or mother: That which thou desyrest of me to helpe ye with: is geven God: But ye saye/ euery man shall saye to his father or mother: that which thou desyrest of me to helpe the with: is geuen God: and so shall he not honoure his father or his mother. But ye saye: Euery man shal saye to father or mother: The thīge yt I shulde helpe ye withal, is geuē vnto God.
15:6 ād so shal he not honoure hys father ād mother. And thus have ye made/ that the cōmaundment of god is with out effecte/ through youre tradiciōs. & so shall he not honoure his father or his mother. And thus haue ye made/ yt the cōmaundment of God is with out effecte/ through youre tradiciōs. And thus haue ye made/ that the commaundement of God is without effecte/ through youre tradicions. By this is it come to passe, that no man honoureth his father or his mother eny more. And thus haue ye made the cōmaundement of God of none effecte, for youre owne tradiciōs.
15:7 Ypocritſ wel prophesied off you/ Esay sayinge: Ypocritſ well prophesyed of you Esay sayinge: Ypocrites/ well prophesied of you Esayas sayinge: Ye ypocrites, full well hath Esaye prophecied of you, & sayde:
15:8 This people draweth nie vnto me with there mouthes/ ād honoureth me with their lippes/ yet their hert is farre frō me: This people draweth nye vnto me with their mouthes/ and honoureth me with their lippes/ howbe it their hertes are farre from me: This people draweth nye vnto me with their mouthes/ and honoureth me with their lyppes/ howbe it their hertes are farre from me: This people draweth nye vnto me wt their mouth, & honoureth me wt their lippes, how beit, their hert is farre frō me.
15:9 but ī vaine thei worshippe me teachīge doctrine/ which is nothīg but mēs precepts. but in vayne they worshippe me teachinge doctrines/ whiche are nothing but mens precepts. but in vayne they worshyppe me teachinge doctrines/ which are nothinge but mens precepts. But in vayne do they serue me, whyle they teach soch doctrynes as are nothinge but the commaundementes of men.
15:10 And he called the people vnto hī/ and saide to them: heare and vnderstōde. And he called the people vnto him/ & sayde to them: heare and vnderstande. And he called the people vnto him/ & sayde to them: heare and vnderstonde. And he called ye people to hī, & saide vnto thē: Heare & vnderstōde:
15:11 That which goeth ī to the mougth/ defyleth not a mā: but that which cōmeth out of the mougth/ defyleth the man. That which goeth in to the mouth/ defyleth not ye man: but that which commeth out of the mouth/ defyleth the man. That which goeth in to the mouth/ defyleth not the man: but that which commeth out of the mouth/ defyleth the man. That which goeth in to the mouth, defyleth not the mā: but yt which cōmeth out of the mouth, defyleth ye mā.

He answered & sayd: all plantes which my heauēly father hath not planted/ shalbe plucked vp by the rotes. He answered, and sayde: All plantes which my heauenly father hath not planted, shal be pluckte vp by ye rotes.
15:14 Lett them alone/ they be the blynde ledders of the blynde. If the blynde leede the blīde/ boothe shall fall in to the dyche. Let them alone/ they be the blynde leaders of the blynde. If the blynde leede the blynde/ boothe shall fall in to the dyche. Let thē alone/ they be the blinde leaders of the blinde. If the blinde leede the blinde/ both shall fall into the dyche. Let thē go, they are ye blynde leaders of ye blynde. Whā one blinde leadeth another, they fall both ī ye diche.

15:17 perceave ye not/ that whatsoever goeth in at the mouth/ descendeth doune in to the bely/ ād ys cast out in to the draught? perceave ye not/ that what soever goeth in at the mouth/ descendeth doune in to the bely/ & is cast out in to the draught? perceaue ye not/ that whatsoeuer goeth in at the mouth/ descendeth doune into the bely/ & is cast out into the draught? Perceaue ye not, yt what soeuer goeth in at ye mouth, descēdeth downe in to ye bely, & is cast out in to the draught?
15:18 Butt those thyngſ which procede out of the mought come from the herte/ and they dyffyle a mā. But those thingis which procede out of the mouth/ come from the herte/ and they defyle the man. But those thinges which procede out of the mouth/ come from the herte/ and they defyle the mā. But the thinge that proceadeth out of the mouth, cōmeth frō ye hert, & that defyleth ye mā.
15:19 For out of the herte come evyll thoughtſ/ murder/ breakyng of wedlocke/ whordō/ theefte/ falce witnesberynge/ blasphemy. For out of the herte come evyll thoughtis/ murder/ breakyng of wedlocke/ whordō/ theefte/ falce witnesberynge/ blasphemye.
