3:7 When he sawe many off the pharises and off the saduces come to hys baptim/ he sayde vnto them: O generacion of vipers/ who hath taught you to fle from the vēgeaūce to come? 3:9 And se that ye ons thinke not to saye in your selves/ we have Abrahā to oure father. For I say vnto you/ that God is able off these stones/ to rayse vp chyldren vnto Abrahā. 3:10 Evē nowe is the ax put vnto the rote of the trees: soo that every tree which brīgeth not fforthe goode frute/ shalbe hewē doūe/ and cast into the fyre. Even now is the axe put vnto the rote of the trees: so that euery tree which bringeth not forth good frute/ is hewē doune and cast into the fyre. Euen now is the axe put vnto ye rote of the trees: therfore euery tre which bringeth not forth good frute, shalbe hewē downe, and cast into the fyre.
3:11 I Baptise you in water in tokē of repētaūce/ but he that cōeth after me/ is myghtier then I: whose shues I ā not worthy to beare. he shal baptise you with the holy gost/ ād with fyre/ I baptise you in water in tokē of repentaūce: but he yt cometh after me/ is myghtier then I/ whose shues I am not worthy to beare. He shall baptise you with ye holy gost & with fyre: I baptyse you in water in token of repentaunce: but he that cometh after me/ is myghtier then I/ whose shoes I am not worthy to beare. He shall baptise you with the holy goost and with fyre: I baptise you with water to repentaunce: but he that cōmeth after me, is myghtier thē I, whose shues I am not worthy to beare. He shall baptise you with ye holy goost & wt fyre:
3:12 which hath also his fā in his hōd/ and will pourge his floore/ ād gadre the wheet into his garner/ and will burne the chaffe with everlastynge fyre. which hath also his fan in his hōd/ & will pourge his floure/ & gadre ye wheet into his garner/ & will burne ye chaffe with vnquēcheable fyre which hath also his fan in his hond/ and will pourge his floure/ and gadre the wheet into his garner/ and will burne the chaffe with vnquencheable fyre. which hath also his fan in his hond, and will pourge his floore, and gadre the wheet into his garner, & will burne ye chaffe with vnquencheable fyre.
3:13 Then cam Iesus from Galile into Iordan/ to Ihon/ fforto be baptised off hym. Then cam Iesus from Galile to Iordan/ vnto Ihon/ to be baptised of hym. Then cam Iesus from Galile to Iordan vnto Iohn/ to be baptised of him. Then came Iesus from Galile to Iordan, vnto Ihon, to be baptised of hym.
3:14 But Ihon fforbade hym/ saynge: I ought to be baptysed off the: and commest thou too me? But Ihon forbade hym/ saynge: I ought to be baptysed of the: and cōmest thou to me? But Iohn forbade him/ sayinge: I ought to be baptised of the: and commest thou to me? But Ihō forbade hym, saynge: I haue nede to be baptysed of the: and commest thou to me?
3:15 Iesus answered and sayde to hym: Lett hyt be so nowe. For thus hit becōmeth vs to fulfyll all rightewesnes. Then he suffred hym. Iesus answered & sayd to hym: Let it be so now. For thus it becommeth vs to fulfyll all rightwesnes. Then he suffred hym. Iesus answered & sayde to him: Let it be so now. For thus it becōmeth vs to fulfill all rightewesnes. Then he suffred him. 3:16 And Iesus as sone as he was baptised/ cam strayght out of the water: And lo heven was opē vnto hym: and he sawe the spirite of god descēde lyke a dove/ and lyght vppon hym. And Iesus assone as he was baptised/ came strayght out of ye water. And lo heuē was opē over hym: & Ihon sawe the spirite of God descende lyke a doue/ and lyght vpon hym. And Iesus assone as he was baptised/ came strayght out of the water. And lo heauen was opē ouer him: & Iohn sawe the spirite of God descende lyke a doue/ & lyght vpon him. And Iesus assone as he was baptised, came straight out of the water. And lo, heuē was opē ouer hym: and Ihon sawe the spirite of God descende lyke a doue, and lyght vpon hym.
3:17 And lo there cam a voice frō heven sayng: thys ys my deare soñe in whom is my delyte. And lo there came a voyce from heven sayng: Thys ys that my beloved sonne in whom is my delyte. And loo there came a voyce from heauen sayinge: This is that my beloued sonne in whom is my delyte. And lo, there came a voyce frō heuē sayng: Thys ys that my beloued sonne, in whom is my delyte.
