7:1 IVdge not lest ye be iudged. IVdge not/ that ye be not iudged. IVdge not/ that ye be not iudged. IVdge not, that ye be not iudged:
7:2 For as ye iudge so shall ye be iudged. And with what mesur ye mete/ with the same shall it be mesurd to you agayne. For as ye iudge so shall ye be iudged. And wt what mesure ye mete/ wt the same shall it be mesured to you agayne. For as ye iudge so shall ye be iudged. And with what mesure ye mete/ with the same shall it be mesured to you agayne. For as ye iudge, so shal ye be iudged. And with what measure ye meete, with the same shall it be measured to you agayne.
7:3 Why seist thou a moote in thy brothers eye/ ād percevest not the beame that ys in thyne awne eye. Why seist thou a moote in thy brothers eye/ & perceavest not the beame yt ys yn thyne awne eye. Why seist thou a moote in thy brothers eye/ and perceauest not the beame that ys yn thyne awne eye. Why seist thou a moate in thy brothers eye, and perceauest not the beame yt is yn thine awne eye?
7:4 Or why sayest thou to thy brother: suffre me to plucke oute a moote oute off thyne eye/ and behold a beame is in thyne awne eye. Or why sayest thou to thy brother: suffre me to plucke oute the moote oute of thyne eye/ & behold a beame is in thyne awne eye. Or why sayest thou to thy brother: suffre me to plucke oute the moote oute of thyne eye/ and behold a beame is in thyne awne eye. Or why saiest thou to yi brother: holde, I wil plucke the moate out of thyne eye, and beholde, a beame is in thyne awne eye.
7:5 Ypocryte/ first cast oute the beame oute of thyne awne eye/ and then shalte thou se clearly to plucke oute the moote oute off thy brothers eye. ypocryte/ fyrst cast oute the beame oute of thyne awne eye/ and then shalte thou se clearly to plucke oute the moote out of thy brothers eye. Ypocryte/ fyrst cast oute the beame oute of thyne awne eye/ and then shalte thou se clearly to plucke oute the moote out of thy brothers eye. Ypocryte, fyrst cast out the beame out of thyne awne eye, and then shalt thou se clearly, to plucke out the moate out of thy brothers eye.
7:6 Geve not that which is holy to doggſ/ nether caste ye youre pearles before swyne/ lest they treade them vnder their fete/ and the other tourne agayne and all to rent you. Geve not that which is holy/ to doggſ/ nether cast ye youre pearles before swyne/ lest they treade them vnder their fete/ and ye other tourne agayne and all to rent you. Geve not that which is holy/ to dogges/ nether cast ye youre pearles before swyne/ lest they treade them vnder their fete/ and the other tourne agayne and all to rent you. Geue not that which is holy, to dogges: nether cast ye youre pearles before swyne, lest they treade them vnder their fete, & the other turne agayne and all to rente you.
7:7 Axe and it shalbe geven you. Seke and ye shall fynd/ Knocke ād it shalbe opened vnto you. Axe & it shalbe geven you. Seke & ye shall fynd. knocke and it shalbe opened vnto you. Axe and it shalbe geven you. Seke and ye shall fynd. Knocke and it shalbe opened vnto you. Axe, and it shalbe geuen you: Seke, and ye shall fynde: knocke, and it shalbe opened vnto you.
7:8 For whosoever axeth receaveth/ and he that seketh fyndeth/ and to hym that knocketh/ it shalbe opened, For whosoever axeth receaveth/ & he yt seketh fyndeth/ and to hym that knocketh/ it shalbe opened. For whosoever axeth receaveth/ and he that seketh findeth/ and to him that knocketh it shalbe opened. For whosoeuer axeth, receaueth: and he that seketh, fyndeth: and to hym yt knocketh, it shal opened.
7:9 ys there eny mā amōg you which wolde proffer his soñe a stone if he axed him breed? Ys there eny man amōge you which if his sonne axed hym bread/ wolde offer him astone? Is there eny mā amōge you which if his sonne axed him bread/ wolde offer him astone? Ys there eny man amonge you, which yf his sonne axed hym bred, wolde offer him a stone?
7:10 or if he axed fysshe/ wolde he proffer hyme a serpent? Or if he axed fysshe/ wolde he proffer hym a serpēt? Or if he axed fysshe/ wolde he profer him a serpent? Or yf he axed fysshe, wolde he proffer hym a serpent?
7:11 Yff ye then whiche are evyll/ cann geve to youre chyldren good gyftes: howe moche moore shall youre father which ys in heven/ geve good thynges to them that axe off hym? yf ye then which are evyll/ cane geve to youre chyldren good gyftes: how moche moore shall youre father which is in hevē/ geve good thynges to them yt axe hym? If ye then which are euyll can geue to youre chyldren good gyftes how moche moore shall youre father which is in heven geue good thynges to them that axe him? yf ye then which are euell, can geue youre chyldren good gyftes: how moche more shall youre father which is in heauen, geue good thynges to them that axe hym?
7:12 Therfore what soever ye wolde that mē shulde do to you/ even so do ye to thē. This ys the lawe and the prophettſ. Therfore whatsoever ye wolde that men shulde do to you/ even so do ye to them. This ys the lawe and the Prophettes. Therfore whatsoeuer ye wolde that men shulde do to you/ euen so do ye to them. This ys the lawe and the Prophetes. Therfore what soeuer ye wolde that mē shulde do to you, euē so do ye to them. This ys the lawe and the Prophetes.
7:13 Enter in at the strayte gate: ffor wyde is the the gate/ and broade ys the waye thatt leadeth to destruccion: and many there be which goo yn there att. Enter in at the strayte gate: for wyde is ye gate/ and broade is the waye that leadeth to destruccion: and many ther be which goo yn therat. Enter in at the strayte gate: for wyde is the gate/ and broade is the waye that leadeth to destruccion: and many ther be which goo yn ther at. Enter in at the strayte gate: for wyde is the gate, and broade is the waye, that leadeth to destruccion: & many there be, which go in therat.
7:14 For strayte ys the yate/ and narowe is the waye which leadeth vnto lyfe: and feawe there be that fynde it. But strayte is the gate/ & narowe ys the waye which leadeth vnto lyfe: and feawe there be that fynde it. But strayte is the gate/ and narowe ys the waye which leadeth vnto lyfe: and feawe there be that fynde it. But strayte is the gate, and narowe ys the waye, which leadeth vnto lyfe, and fewe there be that fynde it.
7:15 Beware off falce prophettſ/ whiche come to you in shepes clothynge/ but inwardly they are ravenynge wolves. Beware of false Prophetes/ which come to you in shepes clothinge/ but inwardly they are ravenynge wolves. Beware of false Prophetes/ which come to you in shepes clothinge/ but inwardly they are rauenynge wolues. Beware of false Prophetes, which come to you in shepes clothinge, but inwardly they are rauenynge wolues,
7:16 Ye shall knowe them by their frutes. Do men gaddre grapes off thornes? or figges off bryres? Ye shall knowe them by their frutes. Do men gaddre grapes of thornes? or figges of bryres? Ye shall knowe them by their frutes. Do men gaddre grapes of thornes? or figges of bryres? Ye shall knowe them by their frutes. Do men gather grapes of thornes? or figges of thistles?
7:17 Even soo evry good tree/ bryngethe forthe good frute. Butt a corrupte tree/ bryngethe forthe evyll frute. Euen soo every good tree bryngeth forthe good frute. But a corrupte tree/ bryngethe forthe evyll frute. Euen so euery good tree bryngeth forth good frute. But a corrupte tree/ bryngeth forth euyll frute. Euen so euery good tree bryngeth forth good frute. But a corrupte tree, bryngeth forth euyl frute,
7:18 A good tree cānott brynge forthe bad frute: nor yett a bad tree can brynge forthe good frute. A good tree cānot brynge forthe bad frute: nor yet a bad tree can bringe forthe good frute. A good tree cannot brynge forthe bad frute: nor yet a bad tree can bringe forth good frute. A good tree can not bryng forth bad frute: nother can a rotten tre bringe forth good frute.
7:19 Every tree that bryngethe not forthe good frute/ shalbe hewē doune/ and cast into the fyre. Every tree that bryngethe not forthe good frute/ shalbe hewē doune/ & cast into the fyre. Euery tree that bringeth not forth good frute/ shalbe hewen doune/ and cast into the fyre. Euery tre that bryngeth not forth good frute, shalbe hewen downe, and cast into the fyre.
7:20 Wherfore by there frutes ye shall knowe them. Wherfore by their frutes ye shall knowe thē. Wherfore by their frutes ye shall knowe thē. Wherfore by their frutes ye shall knowe them.
7:21 Not all they thatt say vnto me/ Master/ Master/ shall enter into the kyngdom̃ off heven: but he that fulfilleth my fathers will which ys in heven. Not all they that saye vnto me/ Master/ Master/ shall enter in to the kyngdome of heven: but he that dothe my fathers will which ys in heven. Not all they that saye vnto me/ Master/ master/ shall enter in to the kyngdome of heauē: but he that dothe my fathers will which is in heauen. Not all they that saye vnto me, LORDE LORDE, shall enter in to the kyngdome of heauen: but he that doth the will of my father which ys in heauen.
7:22 Many will saye to me yn that daye/ Master/ Master/ have we nott ī thy name prophesied? And ī thy name have we not caste out devyls? And in thy name have we nott done many miracles. Many will saye to me in that daye/ Master/ master/ have we not in thy name prophesied? And in thy name have caste oute devyls? And in thy name have done many miracles? Many will saye to me in that daye: Master/ master/ haue we not in thy name prophesied? And in thy name haue caste oute deuyls? And in thy name haue done many miracles? Many shall saye to me in that daye: LORDE, LORDE: haue we not prophecied in thy name? Haue we not cast out deuyls in thy name? Haue we not done many greate dedes in thy name?
7:23 And then will I knowlege vnto them/ that I never knewe them. Departe from me/ ye workers of iniquite. And then will I knowlege vnto them/ that I never knewe them. Departe from me/ ye workers of iniquite. And then will I knowlege vnto them that I neuer knewe them. Departe frō me/ ye workers of iniquite. And then will I knowlege vnto them: I neuer knewe you, Departe fro me, ye workers of iniquite.
7:24 Whosoever hearethe off me these saynges/ and doethe the same/ I wyll lyken hyme vnto a wyse man which byltt his housse on a rocke: Whosoever heareth of me these sayinges and doethe the same/ I wyll lyken hym vnto a wyse man which bylt hys housse on a rocke: Whosoeuer heareth of me these sayinges/ & doth the same/ I will lyken him vnto a wyse man which bylt his housse on a rocke: Whosoeuer therfore heareth of me these sayinges, and doeth the same, I wyll lyckē hym vnto a wyse man, which buylt hys house vpon a rocke:
7:25 and aboūdance off rayne descended/ and the fluddſ cā/ ād the wynddſ blewe/ ād bett vppō that same housse/ ād it was not over throwen because it was grounded on the rocke. & aboundance of rayne descended/ & the fluddes came/ & the wyndes blewe and bet vpon that same housse/ and it fell not/ because it was grounded on the rocke. & aboundance of rayne descended/ & the fluddes came/ and the windes blewe & bet vpon that same housse & it fell not/ because it was grounded on the rocke. Now whan abundaunce of rayne descended, and the wyndes blewe and bet vpon that same house, it fel not, because it was grounded on the rocke.
7:26 And whosoever heareth of me these saīgſ/ ād doth not the same/ shalbe lykened vnto a folysh mā/ which bilt his housse apon the sonde/ And whosoever heareth of me these sayinges & doth thē not/ shalbe lykened vnto a folysh man which bilt hys housse apō the sondſ: And whosoeuer heareth of me these sayinges and do them not/ shalbe lykened vnto a folysh man which bylt his housse vpon the sonde: And who soeuer heareth of me these sayinges, & doth thē not, shalbe lyckened vnto a folysh mā, which buylt his housse apon the sonde:
7:27 and abundaunce of rayne descēded/ and the fluddſ cam/ and the wynddſ blewe/ and beet vppon that housse/ ād it was over throwen/ and great was the fall off it. & abundaūce of rayne descended/ & the fluddes came/ and ye wyndes blewe and beet vpon that housse/ and it fell and great was the fall of it. and aboundaunce of rayne descended/ and the fluddes came/ and the windes blewe and beet vpon that housse/ and it fell/ and great was the fall of it. Now whan abūdaunce of rayne descēded, & the wyndes blewe, & bet vpon yt housse, it fell, and great was the fall of it.
7:28 And it cam to passe/ that whē Iesus had ended these sayngſ/ the peple were astōnied at his doctryne. And it came to passe/ that when Iesus had ended these saynges/ the people were astonnyed at hys doctryne. And it came to passe/ that when Iesus had ended these sayinges/ the people were astonnyed at his doctrine. And it came to passe, that when Iesus had ended these saynges, the people were astonnyed at hys doctryne.
7:29 For he taught them as one havynge power/ and not as the scribes. For he taught them as one havynge power/ and not as the Scribes. For he taught them as one hauinge power/ and not as the Scribes. For he taught them as one hauynge power, and not as the Scribes.
