12:1	ANd he began to speake vnto them in similitudes. A certayne mā planted a vyneyarde/ and compased it with an hedge/ and ordeyned a wyne presse/ and bilt a toure in hytt/ and lett it out to hyre vnto husbandemen/ and went into a straunge coūtre.	ANd he beganne to speake vnto them in similitudes. A certayne man planted a vineyarde/ & cōpased it with an hedge/ & ordeyned a wyne presse/ and bylt a toure in yt. 12:2	And when tyme was come he sentt to the tennauntſ a servaunt that he myght of the tenauntſ receave of the frute of the vyneyarde.	And when the tyme was come/ he sent to the tennauntes a servaunt/ that he myght receave of the tenauntes of the frute of the vyneyarde.	And when the tyme was come/ he sent to the tenauntes a seruaunt/ that he myght receaue of the tenauntes of the frute of the vyneyarde.	And whan the tyme was come, he sent a seruaūt to the hussbande men, that he might receaue of the hussbandmen, of the frute of the vynyarde.
12:3	And they caught hym and bett hym and sentt hym agayne empty.	And they caught him & bet him & sent him agayne emptye.	And they caught him and bet him/ and sent him agayne emptye.	But they toke him, and bet him, and sent him awaye emptye.
12:4	And mooreover he sentt vnto them another servaūt/ and at hym they cast stones and brake hys heed/ ād sent him agayne all to revyled.	And moreover he sent vnto them another servaunt/ & at him they cast stones & brake his heed/ and sent him agayne all to revyled.	And moreouer he sent vnto them another seruaunt/ and at him they cast stones and brake his heed/ and sent him agayne all to reuyled. 12:5	And agayne he sentt another/ and hym they kylled: and many other/ beetynge some/ and kyllinge some.	And agayne he sent another/ and him they kylled: and many other/ beetynge some/ and kyllinge some.	And agayne he sent another/ and him they kylled: and many other/ beetynge some and kyllinge some.	Agayne he sent another, whom they slew, and many other: some they bett, and some they put to death.
12:6	Yet had he one sonne whom he loved tenderly/ him also sent he att the last vnto them/ sayinge: they wyll feare my sonne. Yet had he one sonne whom he loued tenderly/ him also he sent at the last vnto them sayinge: they will feare my sonne.	Then had he yet one sonne onely, whom he loued, him he sent also vnto them at the last, and sayde: they wyl stonde in awe of my sonne.
12:7	Butt the tenauntſ sayde with in them selves: Thys ys the heyre/ come lett vs kill him/ and the inheritaūce shalbe oures.	But the tenauntes sayde amongest them selves: this is the heyre: come let vs kyll hym/ & y^e inheritaūce shalbe oures.	But the tenauntes sayde amongest them selues: this is the heyre: come let vs kyll him/ and the inheritaunce shalbe oures.	But the same hussbandmen sayde amonge them selues: This is the heyre, Come, let vs kyll him, so shal the inheritaunce be ours.
12:8	And they toke him and killid him/ and cast hym out of the vyneyarde.	And they toke him and kyllid him/ & cast him out of the vyneyarde.	And they toke him & kyllid him/ and cast him out of the vyneyarde.	And they toke him, and slewe him, and cast him out of the vynyarde.
12:9	What shall then the lorde of the vyneyarde do? He will come and distroye the tenauntſ/ and let out the vyneyarde to other.	What shall then the lorde of the vyneyarde do? He will come & destroye y^e tenauntſ/ & let out the vyneyarde to other.	What shall then the lorde of the vyneyarde do? He wil come and destroye the tenauntes/ & let out the vyneyarde to other.	What shal now the lorde of the vynyarde do? He shal come and destroye the hussbande men, and geue the vynyarde vnto other.
12:10	Have ye nott redde thys scripture? the stoone which the bylders did refuse/ ys made the chefe stoone in the corner:	Have ye not redde this scripture? The stoone which y^e bylders dyd refuse/ is made y^e chefe stoone in y^e corner:	Haue ye not redde this scripture? The stoone which the bylders dyd refuse/ is made the chefe stoone in the corner: this was done of the Lorde/ & is meruelous in oure eyes.	Haue ye not red this scripture: The same stone which the buylders refused, is become the headstone in the corner?
12:11	Thys was done off the lorde/ and ys merveyllous ī oure eyes.	this was done of y^e Lorde/ & is mervelous in oure eyes.	And they went about to take him/ but they feared the people.	This was the LORDES doynge, and it is maruelous in oure eyes.
12:12	And they went about to take hym/ butt they feared the people. For they perceaved that he spake that similitude agaynst them. And they left hym and went their waye. And they wente aboute to take him (but they feared the people) for they perceaued, that he had spokē this parable agaynst thē. And they left him, and wente their waye.
12:13	And they sent vnto hym certayne off the pharises with Herodes servauntſ/ to take hym in hys wordſ.	And they sent vnto him certayne of y^e Pharises with Herodes servantſ/ to take him in his wordes.	And they sent vnto him certayne of the Pharises with Herodes seruātes/ to take him in his wordes. 12:14	And as sone as they were come/ they sayd vnto hym: master/ we knowe that thou arte true/ and careste for no man: For thou consydereste nott the degre off men/ butt teacheste the waye off god truly: Ys yt laufull to paye tribute to Cesar/ or nott?	And assone as they were come/ they sayd vnto him: master we knowe y^t thou arte true/ & carest for no man: for thou consyderest not the degre of men/ but teachest the waye of God truly: Ys it laufull to paye tribute to Cesar/ or not?	And assone as they were come they sayd vnto him: master we knowe that thou arte true/ and carest for no man: for thou consyderest not the degre of men/ but teachest the waye of God truly: Is it laufull to paye tribute to Cesar/ or not?	And they came, and sayde vnto hī: Master, we knowe that thou art true and carest for no man. For thou regardest not the outwarde appearaunce of men, but teachest y^e waye of God truly. Is it laufull to geue tribute vnto the Emperoure, or not?
12:15	ought we to geve/ or ought we nott to geve? He knewe their dissimulacion/ and sayd vnto them: Why tempte ye me? Brynge me a peny/ that I maye se yt.	Ought we to geve/ or ought we not to geve? He vnderstode their simulacion/ and sayde vnto them: Why tēpte ye me? Brynge me a peny/ that I maye se yt.	Ought we to geue/ or ought we not to geue? He vnderstode their simulacion/ and sayde vnto them: Why tempte ye me? Bringe me apeny/ that I maye se it.	Ought we to geue it, or ought we not to geue it? But he perceaued their ypocrisye, and sayde vnto them: Why tempte ye me? Brynge me a peny, that I maye se it.
12:16	And they brought hym one. And he sayde vnto them: Whose ys thys ymage and superscripcion? And they sayde vnto hym/ Cesars.	And they brought. And he sayde vnto them: Whose ys thys ymage and superscripcion? And they sayde vnto him/ Cesars.	And they brought. And he sayde vnto them: Whose is this ymage and superscripcion? And they sayde vnto him Cesars.	And they brought it him. Then sayde he: Whose ymage and superscripcion is this? They sayde vnto him: The Emperours.
12:17	And Iesus answered/ and sayde vnto them: Then geve to Cesar that which belongeth to Cesar: And geve God that which perteyneth to God. And they mervelled att hym.	And Iesus answered & saide vnto the: Then geve to Cesar that which belongeth to Cesar: & to God/ that which perteyneth to God. And they mervelled at him.	And Iesus answered & sayde vnto them: Then geue to Cesar that which belongeth to Cesar: & to God/ that which perteyneth to God. And they meruelled at him.	Then answered Iesus and sayde vnto thē: Geue therfore vnto the Emperoure that which is the Emperours, and vnto God that which is Gods. And they marueled at him.
12:18	And the saduces cam vnto hym/ which saye/ there is no resurrection. And they axed hym/ sayinge:	Then came the Saduces vnto him/ which saye/ ther is no resurreccion. And they axed hym sayinge:	Then came the Saduces vnto him/ which saye/ ther is no resurreccion. And they axed him sayinge:	Then came vnto him the Saduces (which holde that there is no resurreccion) these axed him, and sayde:
12:19	Master/ Moses wroote vnto vs/ yff eny mans brother dye/ ād leve his wyf/ behynde hī/ and leve no chyldrē: that thē hys brother shulde take his wyfe/ and reyse vppe seed vnto his brother.	Master/ Moses wroote vnto vs yf eny mans brother dye/ & leve his wyfe behinde him/ & leve no chyldren: that then hys brother shuld take his wyfe/ & reyse vp seed vnto his brother.	Master/ Moses wroote vnto vs yf eny mans brother dye/ and leue his wyfe behynde him/ & leue no chyldren: that then his brother shuld take his wyfe/ and reyse vp seed vnto his brother.	Master, Moses wrote vnto vs. Yf eny mans brother dye, and leaue a wife, and leaue no children, his brother shal take his wife, and rayse vp sede vnto his brother.
12:20	There were seven brethrē and the fyrst toke a wyfe/ and whē he dyed leeft no seede behinde hym.	Ther were seven brethren: and the fyrst toke a wyfe/ and when he dyed leeft no seed behynde him.	There were seuen brethren: & the fyrst toke a wyfe/ and when he dyed leeft no seed behynde him.	Now were there seuen brethren: the first toke a wife, and dyed, and left no sede:
12:21	And the secōde toke her/ ād dyed: nether leeft he eny seede/ and the thyrde lyke wyse.	And the seconde toke hir/ & dyed: nether leeft eny seed. And the thyrde lyke wyse.	And the seconde toke hyr/ and dyed: nether leeft eny seed. And the thyrde lyke wyse.	and the seconde toke her, and dyed, and left no sede also: the thirde in like maner.
12:22	And seven had her/ and leeft no seed behynde them. Last of all the wyfe dyed also.	And sevē had her/ and leeft no seed behynde them. Last of all the wyfe dyed also.	And seuen had her/ and leeft no seed behynde them. Last of all the wyfe dyed also.	And they all seuen toke her, and left no sede. At the last after them all, the wyfe dyed also.
12:23	In the resurreciō thē/ whē they shall ryse agayne: whose wyfe shall she be of them? For seven had her to wyfe.	In the resurrecciō then/ when they shall ryse agayne: whose wyfe shall she be of them? For seven had her to wyfe.	In the resurreccion then/ when they shall ryse agayne: whose wyfe shall she be of them? For seuen had her to wyfe.	Now in the resurreccion whan they shal ryse agayne, whose wife shal she be of them? For seuen had her to wife.
12:24	Iesus answered/ and sayde vnto them: Are ye not therfore deceaved be cause ye knowe not the scrypturſ? Nether the power of God?	Iesus answered and sayde vnto them: Are ye not therfore deceaved and vnderstonde not the scryptures/ nether the power of God?	Iesus answered and sayde vnto them: Are ye not therfore deceaued and vnderstonde not the scriptures/ nether the power of God?	Then answered Iesus, and sayde vnto them: Do not ye erre? because ye knowe not the scryptures ner y^e power of God?
12:25	For whē they shall ryse agayne from deeth/ they nether mary/ nor are maryed: butt are as the angels which are in heven.	For when they shall ryse agayne frō deeth/ they nether mary/ nor are maryed: but are as the angels which are in heven.	For when they shall ryse agayne from deeth/ they nether mary/ nor are maryed: but are as the angels which are in heauen.	Whan they shal ryse agayne from the deed, they shal nether mary ner be maried, but they are as the angels in heauen.
12:26	As touchynge the deed/ that they shall ryse agayne: have ye nott redde in the boke off Moses/ howe in the busshe God spake vnto him sayinge: I am the God of Abraham/ and the God of Ysaac/ and the God of Iacob? As touchinge the deed, that they shal ryse agayne, haue ye not red in the boke of Moses, how God spake vnto him in the bush, and sayde: I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, & the God of Iacob?
12:27	He is not the god of the deed/ butt the god of the livynge/ ye are therfore greatly deceaved.	He is not the God of the deed/ but the God of the livynge. Ye are therfore greatly deceaved.	He is not the God of the deed/ but the God of the lyuynge. Ye are therfore greatly deceaued.	Yet is not God a God of the deed, but of the lyuynge. Therfore ye erre greatly.
12:28	And ther cam wō off the scrybſ/ ād when he had herde them disputynge to gedder/ and perceaved that he had answered them well/ he axed hym: Which is the fyrste of all the commaundementſ?	And ther came one of the scribes that had hearde them disputynge to gedder/ and perceaved that he had answered them well/ and axed him: Which is the fyrste of all the commaundemētes?	And ther came one of the Scribes that had hearde them disputynge to geder/ & perceaued that he had answered them wel/ and axed him: Which is the fyrste of all the cōmaundmentes?	And there came vnto him one of the scrybes, that had herkened vnto thē how they disputed together, and sawe that he had answered them well, and axed him: Which is the chefest cōmaundement of all?
12:29	Iesus āswered hym: The fyrste of all the commaundemētſ is. Heare Israhel/ oure lorde God/ is wone lorde.	Iesus answered him: the fyrste of all the cōmaundementes is. Heare Israel: The Lorde God/ is one Lorde.	Iesus answered him: the fyrste of all the commaundementes is. Heare Israel: The Lorde God/ is one Lorde.	Iesus answered him: The chefest commaundemēt of all commaundementes is this: Heare O Israel, the LORDE oure God is one God,
12:30	And thou shaltt love thy lorde God with all thy hert/ ād with all thy soule/ and with all thy mynde/ and with all thy strengthe. This is the fyrste commaundemēt.	And thou shalt love the Lorde thy God with all thy hert/ and with all thy soule/ and with all thy mynde/ and with all thy strength. This is the fyrste commaundement.	And thou shalt loue the Lorde thy God with all thy hert/ and with all thy soule/ and with all thy mynde/ and with all thy strength. This is the fyrste cōmaundment.	and thou shalt loue the LORDE thy God with all thy hert, with all thy soule, with all thy mynde, and with all thy strength. This is the chefest commaundement,
12:31	And the secōde is lyke vnto this. Thou shalt love thy neghbour/ as thy silfe. There is none other commaundement greater then these.	And the seconde is lyke vnto this: Thou shalt love thy neghbour as thy silfe. Ther is none other commaundement greater then these.	And the seconde is lyke vnto this: Thou shalt loue thy neghbour as thy selfe. Ther is none other commaundment greater then these.	and the seconde is like vnto it: Thou shalt loue thy neghboure as thy self. There is none other greater commaundement then these.
12:32	And the scribe sayde vnto hym: well master/ thou hast sayde the truthe/ thatt there ys one God/ and that there is none but he.	And the Scribe sayde vnto him: well master/ thou hast sayd y^e truthe/ that ther ys one God/ and that ther is none but he.	And the Scribe sayde vnto him: well master/ thou hast sayd the truthe/ that ther is one God and that ther is none but he.	And the scrybe sayde vnto him: Master, Verely thou hast sayde right: for there is but one God, & there is none other without him,
12:33	And to love hym with all the herte/ and with all the mynde/ and with all the soule/ ād with all the strēgthe. And to love a mans nehbour as hym silfe/ ys a greater thynge then all holocaustſ and sacrifises.	And to love him with all the herte/ & with all the mynde/ & with all the soule/ & with all the strēgth: and to love a mans neghbour as him silfe/ ys a greater thinge then all burntofferings & sacrifices.	And to loue him with all the herte/ & with all the mynde/ & with all the soule/ and with all the strength: and to loue a mans neghbour as him selfe/ is a greater thinge then all burntofferings & sacrifices.	and to loue him with all the hert, with all the mynde, with all the soule, and with all the strength, and to loue a mans neghboure as himself, is more then brent sacrifices and all offerynges.
12:34	And when Iesus save howe that he answered discretly/ he sayd vnto hym: Thou arte not farre from the kyngdom̃ of god. And no mā after that durst axe hym eny question.	And when Iesus sawe that he answered discretly/ he sayde vnto him: Thou arte not farre from the kyngdome of God. And no man after that/ durst axe him eny questiō.	And when Iesus sawe that he answered discretly/ he sayde vnto him: Thou arte not farre from the kyngdome of God. And no man after that/ durst axe him eny question.	But whā Iesus sawe that he answered discretly, he sayde vnto him: Thou art not farre from the kyngdome of God. And after this durst no man axe him eny mo questions.
12:35	And Iesus answered/ and sayd teachynge in the tēple: howe saye the scribſ/ that christ is the sonne off David?	And Iesus answered and sayde/ teachynge in the temple: how saye the Scribes y^t Christ is the sonne of David?	And Iesus answered and sayde/ teachynge in the temple: how saye the Scribes that Christ is the sonne of Dauid?	And Iesus answered, and sayde, whan he taught in the temple: How saye the scrybes, y^t Christ is the sonne of Dauid?
12:36	for David hym silfe inspyred with the holy goost sayd: The lorde sayde to my lorde/ sytt on my right honde tyll I make thyne enemys thy fote stole.	for David him selfe inspyred with the holy goost/ sayde: The Lorde sayde to my Lorde/ syt on my right honde/ tyll I make thyne enemyes thy fote stole.	for Dauid him selfe inspyred with the holy goost/ sayde: The Lorde sayde to my Lorde/ syt on my ryght honde/ tyll I make thyne enemyes thy fote stole.	But Dauid himself saieth thorow the holy goost: The LORDE sayde vnto my LORDE: Syt thou on my right honde, tyll I make thine enemies yⁱ fotestole.
12:37	Thē David hym silfe calleth hym lorde/ and by what meanes ys he then his sonne? And moche people herde hym gladly.	Then David hym silfe calleth him Lorde: & by what meanes is he then his sonne? And moche people hearde him gladly.	Then Dauid him selfe calleth him Lorde: & by what meanes is he then his sonne? And moche people hearde him gladly.	There Dauid calleth him his LORDE. How is he thē his sonne? And many people herde him gladly.
12:38	And he sayd vnto them in his doctrine: be ware off the scribſ which love to goo in longe/ clothynge: and love salutacions in the market places/	And he sayde vnto them in his doctrine: be ware of the Scribes which love to goo in longe clothinge: and love salutacions in y^e market places/	And he sayde vnto them in his doctrine: be ware of the Scribes which loue to go in longe clothinge: and loue salutacions in the market places/	And he taught thē, and sayde vnto thē: Bewarre of the scrybes, that loue to go in longe garmentes, and loue to be saluted in the market,
12:39	and the chefe seates in the sinagogſ/ and to sit in the vppermost roumes att feastes/	and the chefe seates in the synagoges/ and to syt in the vppermost roumes at feastes/	and the chefe seates in the synagoges/ and to syt in the vppermost roumes at feastes/	and syt gladly aboue in the synagoges and at the table:
12:40	and devoure widowes houses/ and vnder a colour praye longe prayers. These shall have greater damnacion.	and devoure widowes houses/ & that vnder coloure of longe prayinge. These shall receave greater dampnacion.	and deuoure wydowes houses/ & that vnder a coloure of longe prayinge. These shall receaue greater dampnacion.	they deuoure wyddowes houses, and vnder a coloure they make longe prayers. These shal receaue the more damnacion.
