14:1 ANd he sayde vnto hys disciples: Lett nott youre hertes be trubled/ beleve in God/ ād beleve ī me. ANd he sayd vnto his disciples: Let not youre hertſ be troubled. Beleve in god & beleve in me. ANd he sayde vnto his disciples: let not youre hertes be troubled. Beleue in God/ and beleue in me. ANd he sayde vnto his disciples: Let not youre hert be afrayed. Yf ye beleue on God, thē beleue also on me.
14:2 In my fathers housse are many māsiōs. If it were not soo/ I wolde have tolde you. I goo to prepare a place for you. In my fathers housse are many mansions. If it were not so/ I wolde have tolde you. I go to prepare a place for you. In my fathers housse are many mansions. If it were not so/ I wolde haue tolde you. I go to prepare a place for you. In my fathers house are many dwellinges. Yf it were not so, I wolde haue tolde you: I go to prepare the place for you.
14:3 I will come agayne/ ād receve you evē vnto myselfe/ that where I am/ theare maye ye be also. And yf I go to prepare a place for you/ I will come agayne/ & receave you evē vnto my selfe/ yt where I am/ there maye ye be also. And yf I go to prepare a place for you/ I will come agayne/ & receaue you euen vnto my selfe/ that where I am/ there maye ye be also. And though I go to prepare the place for you, yet wil I come agayne, and receaue you vnto my self, yt ye maye be where I am.
14:4 And whither I goo ye knowe/ and the waye ye knowe. And whither I go ye knowe/ & ye waye ye knowe. And whither I go ye knowe/ and the waye ye knowe. And whither I go, ye knowe, and the waye knowe ye also.
14:5 Thomas sayde vnto hī: Lorde we knowe not whyther thou goest. Also howe is it possible for vs to knowe the waye? Thomas sayde vnto him: Lorde we knowe not whyther thou goest. Also how is it possible for vs to knowe the waye? Thomas sayde vnto him: Lorde we knowe not whither thou goest. Also how is it possible for vs to knowe the waye? Thomas sayde vnto him: LORDE, we knowe not whither thou goest, & how can we knowe the waye?
14:6 Iesus sayde vnto hym I am the waye/ verite/ and lyfe. No man cōmeth vnto the father/ but by me. Iesus sayd vnto him: I am ye waye/ ye truthe & ye life. And no man cōmeth vnto the father/ but by me. Iesus sayde vnto him: I am the waye/ the truthe & the lyfe. And no man cōmeth vnto the father/ but by me. Iesus sayde vnto him: I am the waye, and the trueth, and the life. Noman cōmeth to the father but by me.
14:7 Yf ye had knowē me ye had knowen my father alsoo. And nowe ye knowe hym. And ye have sene hym. Yf ye had knowē me/ ye had knowē my father also. And now ye knowe him/ & have sene him. If ye had knowē me/ ye had knowē my father also. And now ye knowe him/ & haue sene him. Yf ye knewe me, ye knewe my father also. And frō hēce forth ye knowe hī, & haue sene him.
14:8 Phillip said vnto hī: lorde shew vs thy father and it suffiseth vs Philip sayd vnto him: Lorde shew vs the father/ and it suffiseth vs. Philip sayde vnto him: Lorde shew vs the father/ and it suffiseth vs. Philippe sayde vnto him: LORDE, shewe vs the father, and it sufficeth vs.
14:9 Iesus sayde vnto hī: have I bene so lōge time with you: and yet hast thou not knowen me? Philip/ he that hath sene me/ hath sene the father. And howe sayest thou thē: shewe vs the father? Iesus sayde vnto him: have I bene so longe tyme wt you: & yet hast thou not knowen me? Philip/ he yt hath sene me/ hath sene ye father. And how sayest thou then: shew vs the father? Iesus sayde vnto him/ haue I bene so longe tyme with you: & yet hast thou not knowen me? Philip/ he that hath sene me/ hath sene the father. And how sayest thou then: shew vs the father? Iesus sayde vnto him: Thus longe am I with you, and hast thou not knowne me? Philippe, he that seyth me, seyth the father. And how sayest thou then: Shewe vs the father?
14:10 Belevest thou nott that I am in the father/ and the father in me? The wordes that I speake vnto you/ I speake not of my silfe: but the father dwellīge ī me is he that doeth the workes. Belevest thou not that I am in ye father/ & the father in me? The wordes that I speake vnto you/ I speakee not of my selfe: but ye father that dwelleth in me/ is he that doeth ye workes. Beleuest thou not that I am in the father/ and the father in me? The wordes that I speake vnto you/ I speake not of my selfe: but the father that dwelleth in me/ is he that doeth the workes. Beleuest thou not that I am in the father, and that ye father is in me? The wordes that I speake vnto you, those speake not I of my self: but the father that dwelleth in me, he doth the workes.
14:11 Beleve that I am in the father/ ād the father in me. Att the leest beleve me for the very workes sake. Beleve me/ that I am the father/ & ye father in me. At the leest beleve me for the very workes sake. Beleue me that I am in the father/ & the father in me. At the leest beleue me for the very workes sake. Beleue me, that I am in the father, and that ye father is in me: Or els, beleue me at the leest for the workes sake.
14:12 Verely verely I saye vnto you whosoever beleweth on me/ the workes that I doo/ the same shall he do/ and gretter workes then these shall he do/ be cause I go vnto my father. Verely verely I saye vnto you: he that beleveth on me/ the workes that I doo/ the same shall he do/ & greater workes then these shall he do/ because I go vnto my father. Verely/ verely I saye vnto you/ he that beleueth on me/ the workes that I do/ the same shall he do/ & greater workes then these shall he do/ because I go vnto my father. Verely verely I saye vnto you: He that beleueth on me, shal do the workes that I do, and shal do greater then these: for I go to the father.
14:13 And whatsoever ye axe ī my name/ that will I do/ that the father might be glorified by the sōne. And what soever ye axe in my name/ yt will I do/ yt the father might be glorified by the sonne. And what soeuer ye axe in my name/ that will I do/ that the father myght be glorified by the sonne. And what soeuer ye axe ye father in my name, that wyl I do, that the father maye be praysed in the sonne.
14:14 Yf ye shal axe eny thynge in my name I will do it. Yf ye shall axe eny thīge in my name/ I will do it Yf ye shall axe eny thinge in my name/ I will do it. Yf ye axe eny thinge in my name, I wyl do it.
14:15 Yf ye love me kepe my cōmaundmentſ/ If ye love me kepe my cōmaundementes/ If ye loue me kepe my cōmaundemētes/ Yf ye loue me, kepe my commaundementes.
14:16 ād I will praye my father/ ād he shall geve you a nother cōforter/ that he maye byde with you ever/ & I will praye the father/ & he shall geve you a nother comforter/ yt he maye byde with you ever/ & I will praye the father/ & he shall geue you another cōforter/ that he maye byde with you euer And I wyl praye the father, and he shal geue you another comforter, that he maye byde wt you for euer:
14:17 which is the sprete of truthe whome the worlde cānot receave/ be cause the worlde seyth hī not/ nether knoweth hym. Butt ye knowe hī/ For he dwelleth with you/ and shalbe ī you. which is the sprete of truthe whome the worlde cānot receave/ because the worlde seyth him not/ nether knoweth him. But ye knowe him. For he dwelleth with you/ and shalbe in you. which is the sprete of truthe whome the worlde cannot receaue/ because the worlde seyth him not/ nether knoweth him. But ye knowe him. For he dwelleth with you/ & shalbe in you. euen ye sprete of trueth, whom ye worlde can not receaue, for it seyth him not, nether doth it knowe him: but ye knowe him, for he abydeth wt you, & shalbe in you
14:18 I will nott leave you comfortlesse: I will come vnto you. I will not leave you comfortlesse: but will come vnto you. I will not leaue you comfortlesse: but will come vnto you. I wil not leaue you cōfortles, I come vnto you.
14:19 Hit is yet a litell whyle ād the worlde seyth me noo moare: but ye shall se me. For I live/ and ye shall live. Yet a litell whyle and the worlde seith me no moare: but ye shall se me. For I live/ & ye shall live. Yet a litell whyle and the worlde seith me no moare: but ye shall se me. For I liue & ye shall liue. It is yet a litle whyle, thē shal the worlde se me nomore, but ye shal se me: for I lyue, and ye shal lyue also.
14:20 That daye shall ye knowe that I am ī my father/ and my father in me/ and I in you. That daye shall ye knowe that I am in my father/ & you in me/ & I in you That daye shall ye knowe that I am in my father/ & you in me/ & I in you. In yt daye shal ye knowe, that I am in the father and ye in me, and I in you.
14:21 He that hath my cōmundmētſ ād kepeth thē/ the same is he that loveth me/ and he that loveth me shalbe loved of my father/ ād I will love hī/ and will showe myne awne silfe vnto hī. He that hath my cōmaundemētes & kepeth them/ the same is he that loveth me. And he yt loveth me/ shalbe loved of my father: & I will love him/ and will shewe myne awne selfe vnto him. He that hath my cōmaundemētes & kepeth them/ the same is he that loueth me. And he that loueth me shalbe loued of my father: & I will loue him/ & will shewe myne awne selfe to him. He that hath my cōmaundementes, and kepeth them, the same is he that loueth me: and he that loueth me, shalbe loued of my father: & I wyl loue him, and wyl shewe myne awne self vnto him.
14:22 Iudas sayd vnto him (not Iudas iscarioth) lorde what is the cause that thou wilt shewe thy silfe vnto vs/ ād not vnto the worlde? Iudas sayde vnto him (not Iudas Iscarioth) Lorde what is the cause that thou wilt shewe thy selfe vnto vs/ & not vnto the worlde? Iudas sayde vnto him (not Iudas Iscarioth) Lorde what is the cause that thou wilt shewe thy selfe vnto vs/ & not vnto the worlde? Iudas sayde vnto hī: (not that Iscarioth) LORDE, What is the cause thē, that thou wilt shewe thy self vnto vs, and not vnto the worlde?
14:23 Iesus answered and sayde vnto hym: yf a man love me and wyll kepe my sayinges/ my father also will love him/ and we woll come vnto hī/ and wyll dwell wyth hym. Iesus answered and sayde vnto him: yf a man love me and wyll kepe my sayinges/ my father also will love him/ & we will come vnto him/ and will dwelle with him. Iesus answered and sayde vnto him: yf a man loue me and wyll kepe my sayinges/ my father also will loue him/ & we will come vnto him/ and will dwell with him. Iesus answered, and sayde vnto him: He that loueth me, wyl kepe my worde, and my father wyl loue him: and we wyl come vnto him, and wyll make oure dwellynge with him.
14:24 He that loveth me not/ kepeth nott my sayingſ. And the wordes which ye heare are nott myne/ but my fathers/ which sent me. He that loveth me not/ kepeth not my sayinges. And the wordes which ye heare/ are not myne/ but the fathers which sent me. He that loueth me not/ kepeth not my sayinges. And the wordes which ye heare/ are not myne/ but the fathers which sent me. But he that loueth me not, kepeth not my sayenges. And the worde that ye heare, is not myne, but the fathers which hath sent me.
14:25 This have I spokē vnto you beynge yett present with you. This have I spoken vnto you beynge yet present with you. This haue I spoken vnto you beynge yet present with you. This haue I spoken vnto you, whyle I was with you.
14:26 But that comforter which ys the holy gost (whom my father will sende in my name) shall teache you all thyngſ/ and brynge all thynges to youre remembraunce/ whatsoever I have tolde you. But that cōforter which is the holy gost (whom my father will sende in my name) he shall teache you all thingſ/ and bringe all thinges to youre remembraunce whatsoever I have tolde you. 14:27 Peace I leve with you/ my peace I geve vnto you. Nott as the worlde geveth/ geve I vnto you. Lett not youre hertes be greved/ nether feare ye. Peace I leve with you/ my peace I geve vnto you. Not as the worlde geveth/ geve I vnto you. Let not youre hertes be greved/ nether feare ye. Peace I leue with you/ my peace I geue vnto you. Not as the worlde geueth/ geue I vnto you. Let not your hertes be greued/ nether feare ye. Peace I leaue vnto you, my peace I geue you: I geue not vnto you, as the worlde geueth. Let not yor hert be troubled, nether let it be afrayed.
14:28 Ye have herde howe I saide vnto you: I goo ād come agayne vnto you. Yf ye loved me/ ye wolde verely reioyce/ be cause I sayde/ I goo vnto the father. For the father is gretter thē I/ Ye have hearde how I sayde vnto you: I go & come agayne vnto you. If ye loved me/ ye wolde verely reioyce/ because I sayde/ I go vnto ye father. For ye father is greater then I. Ye haue hearde how I sayde vnto you: I go & come agayne vnto you. If ye loued me/ ye wolde verely reioyce/ because I sayde I go vnto the father. For the father is greater then I. Ye haue herde, that I sayde vnto you: I go, & come agayne vnto you. Yf ye loued me, ye wolde reioyse, because I saide, I go to the father: for ye father is greater thē I.
14:29 And nowe have I shewed you/ before it come/ that when it is come to passe/ ye myght beleve. And now have I shewed you/ before it come/ yt whē it is come to passe/ ye might beleve. And now haue I shewed you/ before it come/ that when it is come to passe/ ye myght beleue. And now haue I tolde you, before it come, that whan it is come to passe, ye maye beleue:
14:30 Here after will I not talke many wordes vnto you. For the chefe ruelar off thys worlde commeth/ ād hath nought in me. Here after will I not talke many mordes vnto you. For the rular of this worlde commeth/ & hath nought in me. Here after will I not talke many wordes vnto you. For the rular of this worlde commeth/ & hath nought in me. Here after wyl not I talke moch with you. For the prynce of this worlde cōmeth, and hath nothinge in me.
14:31 But that the worlde maye knowe that I love my father/ And as my father gave me cōmoundment/ even soo do I. Ryse lett vs goo hence. But that the worlde maye knowe that I love the father: therfore as the father gave me cōmaundment/ even so do I. Ryse let vs go hence. But that the worlde maye knowe that I loue the father: therfore as the father gaue me cōmaundment/ euen so do I. Ryse let vs go thence. But that the worlde maye knowe that I loue ye father. And as the father hath cōmaunded me, so do I. Aryse, let vs go hence.
