5:1 OF the tymes and seasons brethren ye have no nede that I write vnto you: OF the tymes and seasons brethren ye have no nede that I write vnto you: OF the tymes and seasons brethren ye haue no nede that I wryte vnto you: BVt of ye tymes and seasons (brethrē) it is no nede to wryte vnto you.
5:2 for ye youre selves knowe parfectly/ that the daye of the lorde shall come even as a thefe in the nyght. for ye youre selves knowe parfectly/ that the daye of the Lorde shall come even as a thefe in the nyght. for ye youre selues knowe parfectly/ that the daye of the Lorde shall come euen as a thefe in the nyght. For ye youre selues knowe perfectly, that the daye of the LORDE shal come euen as a thefe in the nighte.
5:3 Whē they shall saye peace and no daunger/ then commeth on thē soden destruccion/ as the travalynge off a woman with childe/ and they shall nott scape. When they shall saye peace and no daunger/ than commeth on the soden destruccion/ as the travalynge of a womā with childe/ & they shall not scape. When they shall saye peace and no daunger then commeth on them soden destruccion/ as the traualynge of a woman with chylde/ and they shall not scape. For whan they shal saye: Tush, It is peace, there is no daunger, then shall soden destruccion come vpō thē, euen as the payne of a woman trauaylinge with childe, and they shal not escape.
5:4 But ye brethren are not in darcknes/ that that daye shulde come on you as it were a thefe. But ye brethrē are not in darcknes/ that yt daye shuld come on you as it were a thefe. 5:5 Ye are all the children of light/ and the chyldren of the daye: we are nott off the nyght/ nether off darcknes. Ye are all the childrē of light/ & the children of ye daye. We are not of ye nyght nether of darcknes. Ye are all the chyldren of lyght/ and the chyldren of the daye. We are not of the nyght nether of darknes. Ye are alltogether children of lighte, and children of the daye. We are not of the night, nether of darknesse.
5:6 Therfore let vs not slepe as do wother: but let vs watch and be sober. Therfore let vs not slepe as do other: but let vs watch and be sober. Therfore let vs not slepe as do other: but let vs watch and be sober. Therfore let vs not slepe as do other, but let vs watch, and be sober.

5:8 But lett vs which are of the daye be sober/ armed with the brest plate of fayth and love/ ād with hope of health/ as an helmet. But let vs which are of the daye/ be sober/ armed with the brest plate of fayth and love/ and with hope of salvaciō as an helmet. But let vs which are of the daye/ be sober/ armed with the brest plate of fayth and loue/ and with hope of saluacion as an helmet. But let vs which are of the daye, be sober, armed wt the brestplate of faith and loue, and with ye helmet of hope to saluacion.
5:9 For god hath not apoynted vs vnto wrach: but to obtayne health by the meanes off oure lorde Iesu Christ/ For god hath not apoynted vs vnto wrath: but to obtayne salvacion by ye meanes of oure lorde Iesu Christ For God hath not apoynted vs vnto wrath: but to obtayne saluacion by the meanes of oure lorde Iesu Christ For God hath not appoynted vs vnto wrath, but to optayne saluacion by ye meanes of oure LORDE Iesu Christ,
5:10 which died for vs: that whither we wake or slepe/ we shulde live togedder with hī. which died for vs: that whether we wake or slepe/ we shuld lyve togedder with him. which dyed for vs: that whether we wake or slepe/ we shuld lyue to geder with him. which dyed for vs: that whether we wake or slepe, we shulde lyue together with him.
5:11 Wherfore comforte youre selves togedder/ and edyfie one another/ even as ye do. Wherfore comforte youre selves togedder/ and edifie one another/ even as ye do. 5:12 We beseche you brethren/ thatt ye knowe thē which laboure amonge you/ and have the oversight of you in the lorde/ ād geve you exhortacion/ We beseche you brethren/ that ye knowe them which laboure amonge you & have the oversight of you in the Lorde We beseche you brethren/ that ye knowe them which laboure amonge you and haue the ouersyght of you in the Lorde and geue you exhortacion/ We beseke you brethren, that ye knowe them which laboure amonge you, and haue the ouersighte of you in the LORDE,
5:13 that ye have them the more ī love/ For their workſ sake/ ād be at peace with them. & geve you exhortacion/ that ye have them the more in love/ for their workes sake/ and be at peace with them. that ye haue them the more in loue/ for their workes sake/ and be at peace with them. and geue you exhortacion, that ye haue thē the more in loue for their workes sake, and be at peace with them.
5:14 We desyre you brethren warne them that are vnruly/ comforte the feble mynded/ forbeare the weake have continuall pacience towarde all men. 5:15 Se that none recōpence evyll for evyll vnto eny mā: but ever folowe that whiche is good/ both amōge youre selves/ and to all men. 5:18 In all thyngſ geve thankſ. For this is the will off God in Christ Iesu towarde you. In all thingſ geve thankes. For this is the wyll of God in Christ Iesu towarde you. 5:23 The very god of peace sanctifie you thorow out. And I praye God that youre whole sprete/ soule/ and body/ be kept fautlesse vnto the cōmynge of oure lorde Iesus Christ.
