11:1 Folowe me as I do Christ. Folowe me as I do Christ. Folowe me as I do Christ. Folowe ye me, as I do Christ.
11:2 I Cōmende you brethren that ye remēber me in all thyngſ/ and kepe the ordinauncſ which I gave you. I Commende you brethren that ye remēber me in all thinges/ and kepe the ordinaunces even as I delyvered them to you. I Commende you brethren that ye remēber me in all thinges/ and kepe the ordinaunces euen as I delyuered them to you. I Commende you brethren, that ye remembre me in all poyntes, and kepe the ordinaunces, euē as I delyuered them vnto you.
11:3 I wolde ye knewe that Christ is the heed of every man. and the womans heed is the man/ and Christſ heed is God. I wolde ye knew that Christ is the heed of every man. And the man is the womans heed. And God is Christes heed. I wolde ye knew that Christ is the heed of euery mā. And the man is the womās heed. And God is Christes heed. But I certifye you, that Christ is the heade of euery man. As for ye man, he is the heade of ye woman, but God is Christes heade.
11:4 Every man prayinge or prophesyinge havynge eny thynge on his heed/ shameth his heed. Eevery mā prayinge or prophesyinge havynge eny thynge on his heed/ shameth his heed. Euery man prayinge or prophesyinge hauinge eny thinge on his heed/ shameth his heed. Euery man that prayeth or prophecieth, and hath eny thinge on his heade, shameth his heade.
11:5 Every womā that pryeth or prophesieth bare hedded/ dishonesteth her heede. For it is even all won/ ād the very same thynge even as though she were shaven Every woman that prayeth or prophisieth bare hedded/ dishonesteth hyr heed. For it is even all one/ and the very same thinge/ even as though she were shaven. Euery woman that prayeth or prophisieth bare hedded/ dishonesteth hyr heed. For it is euen all one/ and the very same thinge/ euen as though she were shauen. But euery woman that prayeth or prophecieth with vncouered heade, dishonesteth hir heade. For it is euen a lyke moch as yf she were shauen.
11:6 Yf the woman be not covered/ lett her also be shavē. Yf it be shame for a woman to be shaven or shorne/ let her cover her heed. If the woman be not covered/ lett her also beshoren. If it beshame for a womā to be shorne or shavē/ let her cover her heed. If the womā be not couered/ let her also be shoren. If it be shame for a womā to be shorne or shauen/ let her couer her heed. Yf the womā be not couered, let hir heer also be cut of. But yf it be vncomely for a woman to haue hir heer cut of or to be shauen, then let hir couer hir heade.
11:7 A man ought not to cover his heed/ for as moche as he is the ymage ād glory of god. The woman is the glory of the man. A man ought not to cover his heed/ for as moche as he is the image and glory of God. The woman is the glory of the man. A man ought not to couer his heed/ for as moche as he is the ymage and glory of God. The woman is the glory of the man. Neuertheles the man oughte not to couer his heade, for so moch as he is the ymage and glory of God: but the womā is the glory of the man.
11:8 For the man is not of the woman/ but the woman of the man. For the man is not of the woman/ but the woman of the mā. For the man is not of the woman/ but the woman of the mā. For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man.
11:9 Nether was the mā created for the womās sake: but the woman for the mannes sake. Nether was the man created for ye womās sake: but the womā for the mannes sake Nether was the mā created for the womās sake: but the womā for the mānes sake. Nether was the man created for the womans sake, but the womā for the mans sake.
11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power in her heed/ for the angels sakeſ. For this cause ought the womā to have power on her heed/ for the angels sakes. For this cause ought the womā to haue power on her heed/ for the angels sakes. Therfore ought the woman to haue a power vpon hir heade, for the angels sakes.
11:11 Neverthelesse/ nether is the mā with oute the woman/ nether the womā with out the man in the lorde. Neverthelesse/ nether is the mā with oute the womā nether the womā with out the man in the lorde. Neuerthelesse nether is the mā with out the womā/ nether the womā with out the mā in the Lorde. Neuertheles nether is the man without ye woman, nether the woman without the mā in the LORDE.
11:12 For as the woman is of the man/ evē soo is the mā by the womā: but all is of god. For as the woman is of the man/ evē so is the man by the woman: but all is of God. For as the woman is of the man/ euē so is the man by the woman: but all is of God. For as the woman is of the man, euen so commeth the man also by the woman, but all of God.
11:13 Iudge ī youre selves whether it be cōly that a woman praye vnto god bare hedded. Iudge in youre selves whether it be cōly yt a woman praye vnto god bare heeded. Iudge in youre selues whether it be cōly that a womā praye vnto God bare heeded. Iudge ye by yor selues, whether it be comly, yt a womā praye before God bare headed?
11:14 Or els doth not nature teach you/ that it is a shame for a mā/ if he have longe heere: Or els doth not nature teach you/ that it is a shame for a man/ if he have longe heere: Or els doth not nature teach you/ that it is a shame for a mā/ yf he haue longe heere: Or doth not nature teach you, yt it is a shame for a man
11:15 and a prayse to a womā if she have lōge heere? For her heere is gevē her to cover her with all. and a prayse to a woman/ yf she have longe heere? For her heere is geven her to cover her with all. & a prayse to a woman/ yf she haue longe heere? For her heere is geuē her to couer her with all. yf he weere lōge heer, & a prayse to ye womā, yf she weere lōge heer? For hir heer is geuē heer to couer her withall.
11:16 yf there be eny mā amōge you that lusteth to stryve/ let hī knowe that we have no soche customes/ nether the congregacions of God. If there be eny man amonge you yt lusteth to stryve let him knowe that we have no soche custome/ nether the congregacions of God. If ther be eny man amōge you that lusteth to stryue/ let him knowe that we haue no soche custome/ nether the congregacions of God. But yf there be eny man amōge you that hath lust to stryue, let him knowe, that we haue no soch custome, nether the congregacions of God.
11:17 This I warne you of/ and commende not that ye come togedder after a worsse manner/ and nott after a better. This I warne you of/ and commende not that ye come to gedder: not after a better maner but after a worsse. This I warne you of/ and commende not that ye come to gether: not after a better maner but after a worsse. But this must I warne you of: I commende it not, that ye come together not after a better maner but after a worse.
11:18 Fyrst of all when ye come togedder in the congregaciō/ I heare that there is dissencion amonge you: And I partly beleve it. Fyrst of all when ye come togedder in the cōgregacion/ I heare that ther is dissencion amonge you: & I partly/ beleve it. Fyrst of all when ye come to gether in the cōgregacion/ I heare that ther is dissencion amonge you: & I partly beleue it. First, whan ye come together in the congregacion, I heare, that there are discensions amonge you, and I partly beleue it.
11:19 For there must be sectſ amonge you/ that they which amonge you are perfaict myght be knowen. For ther must be sectes amonge you/ that they which are perfecte amonge you/ myght be knowen. For ther must be sectes amonge you/ that they which are perfecte amonge you/ myght be knowē. For there must be sectes amonge you, that they which are perfecte amonge you, mighte be knowne.
11:20 When ye come togedder in won place/ a man cannot eate the lordes supper. When ye come to gedder a man can not eate the lordes supper. When ye come to gether/ a mā cannot eate the Lordes supper Now whan ye come together, the LORDES supper can not be kepte.
11:21 For every man begynneth a fore to eate his awne supper. and one is hongrye/ and another is dronken. For every man begynneth a fore to eate his awne supper. And one is hongrye/ and another is dronken. For euery man begynneth afore to eate his awne supper. And one is hongrye/ and another is dronken. For whan it shulde be kepte, euery mā taketh his awne supper afore. And one is hōgrie, another is dronkē.
11:22 Have ye nott houses to eate and to drynke in? Or els despyse ye the congregacion off God? and shame them that have nott? what shall I saye vnto you? shall I prayse you? in this prayse I you not. Have ye not houses to eate and to drinke in? Or els despyse ye the congregacion of god and shame them that have not? What shall I saye vnto you? shall I prayse you: In this prayse I you not. Haue ye not houses to eate & to drincke in? Or els despyse ye the congregaciō of God and shame them that haue not? What shall I saye vnto you? shall I prayse you? In this prayse I you not. Haue ye not houses to eate and drynke in? Or despyse ye ye cōgregacion of God, and shame them that haue not? What shal I saye vnto you? Shal I prayse you? in this prayse I you not.
11:23 That which I gave vnto you I receaved off the lorde. For the lorde Iesus the same nyght in the which he was betrayed/ toke breed: That which I delyvered vnto you/ I receaved of ye lorde. For ye lorde Iesus the same nyght in which he was betrayed/ toke breed: That which I deliuered vnto you I receaued of the Lorde. For the lorde Iesus the same nyght in which he was betrayed/ toke breed: That which I delyuered vnto you, receaued I of the LORDE. For the LORDE Iesus the same nighte in the which he was betrayed, toke the bred,
11:24 and thanked and brake/ and sayde: Take ye/ and eate ye this is my body which is broken for you. This do ye in the remembraunce of me. & thanked and brake/ and sayde. Take ye/ & eate ye: this is my body which is broken for you. This do ye in the remembraunce of me. and thanked and brake/ & sayde. Take ye/ & eate ye: this is my body which is broken for you. This do ye in the remembraunce of me. & gaue thankes, and brake it, and sayde: Take ye, & eate ye, this is my body, which is broken for you. This do in the remembraunce of me.
11:25 After the same māner he toke the cuppe when sopper was done sayinge: This cuppe is the newe testamēt in my bloud/ this do as oft as ye drinke it/ in the remēbraunce off me. After the same maner he toke the cup/ when sopper was done/ sayinge. This cup is the newe testament in my bloude. This do as oft as ye drynke it/ in the remēbraunce of me. After the same maner he toke the cup/ when supper was done/ sayinge. This do as oft as ye drincke it/ in the remembraunce of me. After the same maner also he toke ye cuppe whan supper was done, and sayde: This cuppe is the new Testament in my bloude, this do (as oft as ye drynke it) in the remēbraūce of me.
11:26 For as often as ye shall eate this breed/ and drynke thys cuppe/ ye shall shewe the lordes deeth/ till he come. For as often as ye shall eate this breed/ and drynke this cup/ ye shall shewe the lordes deeth tyll he come. For as often as ye shall eate this breed/ and drincke this cup ye shall shewe the lordes deeth/ tyll he come. For as oft as ye shal eate of this bred, & drynke of this cuppe, ye shal shewe the LORDES death, vntyll he come.
11:27 Wherfore whosoevere shall eate off this bred/ or drynke off the cuppe vnworthely/ shalbe giltie off the body and blout off the lorde. Wherfore whosoevere shall eate of this bred/ or drynke of the cup vnworthely/ shalbe giltie of the body & bloud of the Lorde Wherfore whosoeuer shall eate of this bred/ or drincke of the cup vnworthely/ shalbe gyltie of the body and bloud of the Lorde. Wherfore who soeuer shal eate off this bred, and drynke off this cuppe of the LORDE vnworthely, shalbe giltye of the body and bloude of the LORDE.
11:28 Let a man therfore examen hym silfe/ and so let hym eate off the brered and drynke off the cuppe. Let a mā therfore examen him silfe/ & so let hī eate of the breed & drynke of the cup. Let a man therfore examen him selfe/ and so let him eate of the breed and drincke of the cup. But let a man examen himselfe, and so let him eate of this bred, and drynke of this cuppe.
11:29 For he that eateth or drynketh vnworthely/ eateth and drynketh his awne damnacion/ be cause he maketh no difference of the lordis body. For he yt eateth or drinketh vnworthely/ eateth & drynketh his awne damnacion/ because he maketh no difference of the lordis body. For he that eateth or drincketh vnworthely/ eateth and drincketh his awne damnacion/ because he maketh no difference of the lordis body. For he that eateth and drynketh vnworthely, eateth & drynketh his awne damnacion, because he maketh no differēce of the LORDES body.
11:30 For this cause many are weake and sicke amōge you/ and many slepe. For this cause many are weake and sicke amōge you/ & many slepe. For this cause many are weake and sicke amonge you/ and many slepe. Therfore are there so many weake and sicke amōge you, and many slepe.
11:31 Yff we had truly iudged oure selves/ we shulde not have bene iudged. Yf we had truly iudged oure selves/ we shuld not have bene iudged. Yf we had truly iudged oure selues/ we shuld not haue bene iudged. For yf we iudged oure selues, we shulde not be iudged.
11:32 When we are iudged of the lorde we are chastenned/ be cause we shulde not be damned with the worlde. But when we are iudged of the lorde we are chastened/ because we shuld not be dāned with the worlde. But when we are iudged of the Lorde/ we are chastened/ because we shuld not be damned with the worlde. But whan we are iudged, we are chastened of ye LORDE, that we shulde not be dāned with the worlde.
11:33 Wherfore my brethren/ when ye come togedder to eate/ tary one for another. Wherfore my brethren when ye come to gedder to eate/ tary one for another. Wherfore my brethren when ye come to geder to eate/ tary one for another. Wherfore my brethren, whan ye come together to eate, tary one for another.
11:34 yff eny man hōger let hym eate at home/ that ye come not togedder vnto cōdemnaciō. Wother thyngſ will I set in order whē I come. Yf eny mā hōger/ let hī eate at home/ yt ye come not togedder vnto condēnaciō. Other thingſ will I set in order whē I come. Yf eny man honger/ let him eate at home/ that ye come not to geder vnto condemnacion. Other thinges will I set in order/ when I come. But yf eny man honger, let him eate at home, that ye come not together vnto cōdempnacion. As for other thinges, I wil set them in order whan I come.
