2:1 VNto the angell off the congregacion off Ephesus wryte: These thyngſ sayth he that holdeth the vij. starres in his ryght honde/ and walketh in the myddes of the vij. golden candlestyckſ. VNto the messenger of the congregacion of Ephesus wryte: These thyngſ sayth he that holdeth the vii. starres in his right honde/ and walketh in the myddes of the vii. golden candlestyckes. VNto the angell of the congregacion of Ephesus wryte: These thinges sayth he that holdeth the seuen starres in his righthonde, and walketh in the myddes of the seuen goldē candelstickes:
2:2 I knowe thy workſ/ and thy labour/ and thy pacience/ and howe thou cannest not forbeare them which are evyll: and examinedst them which saye they are Apostles/ and are nott: and hast founde them lyars. 2:3 and haste suffered/ and hast pacience: and for my names sake hast labored and hast nott faynted. and dydest wasshe thy self. And hast pacience: and for my names sake hast labored and hast not faynted. and dydest wasshe thy selfe. And hast pacience: and for my names sake hast labored and hast not faynted. and hast suffred. 2:4 Neverthelesse I have sumwhat agaynst the/ for thou haste lefte thy fyrst love. Neverthelesse I have sumwhat agaynst the/ for thou haste lefte thy fyrst love. 2:6 Butt this thou haste be cause thou haste hated the dedes off the Nicolaitans/ which dedſ I also hate. But this thou haste because thou hatest ye dedes of the Nicolaitans/ which dedes I also hate. 2:7 Lett hī that hath eares heare/ what the sprete sayth vnto the congregacions. To hym that overcommeth/ wyll I geve to eate off the tree of lyfe/ which is in the myddes off the paradice off God. Lett him yt hath eares heare/ what ye sprete sayth vnto the congregacions. To him that overcōmeth/ will I geve to eate of the tree of lyfe/ which is in the myddes of ye paradice of god. Let him that hath eares heare/ what the sprete sayth vnto the congregacions. To him that ouercommeth/ will I geue to eate of the tree of lyfe/ which is in the myddes of the Paradise of God. Let him yt hath eares, heare, what ye sprete saith vnto the congregacions. To him that ouercommeth, will I geue to eate of the tree of life, which is in the myddes of ye paradise of God.
2:8 And vnto the angell off the congregacion off Smyrna wryte: These thyngſ sayth he that is fyrst/ and the laste/ which was deed and is alive. 2:9 I knowe thy workſ and tribulacion and povertie/ but thou art ryche: And I knowe the blasphemy off them whiche call them selves iewes ād ar not: but are the congregaciō of sathā. 2:10 Feare none off thoo thyngſ which thou shalt soffre. Beholde/ the devyll shall caste off you into preson/ to tempte you/ and ye shall have tribulacion .x. dayes. Be faythfull vnto the deeth and I wyll geve the a croune off lyfe. Feare none of thoo thynges which thou shalt soffre. 2:11 Let hym that hath earis heare/ what the sprete sayth to the congregacions: He that overcommeth shall not be hurte off the seconde deeth. Let him that hath ears heare/ what the sprete sayth to the congregacions: He that overcōmeth shall not be hurte of the seconde deeth. Let him that hath eares/ heare what the sprete sayth to the congregacions: He that ouercōmeth/ shall not be hurte of the seconde deeth. Let him that hath ears, heare, what the sprete saith to the congregacions: He that ouercōmeth, shal not be hurte of the seconde deeth.
2:12 And to the angell/ of the congregacion in Pergamos wryte: This sayth he which hath the sharpe swearde with two edges. And to the messenger of the congregacion in Pergamos wryte: This sayth he which hath ye sharpe swearde with two edges. 2:14 Butt I have a fewe thīgſ agaynst the: that thou hast there/ they thatt mayntayne/ the doctryne off Balam which taught in balake/ to put occasion off syn before the chylderne off Israhell/ thatt they shulde eate off meate dedicat vnto ydolles/ and to commyt fornicacion. But I have a fewe thynges agaynst the: yt thou hast there/ they that mayntayne the doctryne of Balam which taught in balake/ to put occasion of syn before the chylderne of Israhell/ that they shulde eate of meate dedicat vnto ydoles/ & to commyt fornicacion. 2:15 Even so haste thou them that mayntayne the doctryne off the Nicolaytans/ which thynge I hate. Even so hast thou them that mayntayne the doctryne of the Nicolaytans/ which thynge I hate. 2:16 But repent or elles I will come vnto the shortly and will fyght agaynste them with the swearde of my mought. But be converted or elles I will come vnto the shortly & will fyght agaynste thē with the swearde of my mouth But be conuerted/ or elles I will come vnto the shortly/ & will fyght agaynst them with the swearde of my mouth. 2:17 Lett hym that hath eares heare what the sprete sayth vnto the congregaciōs: To hym that over commeth will I geve to eate māna that is hyd. and will geve hym a whyte stone/ and in the stone a newe name wrytten/ which no man knoweth/ savinge he that receaveth hit. 2:18 And vnto the angell off the congregecion off Theatira write: This sayth the sonne of god/ which hathis eyes lyke vnto a flame of fyre/ whose fete are lyke brasse: And vnto the messenger of the congregacion of Theatira write: This sayth the sonne of god/ which hath his eyes lyke vnto a flame of fyre/ whose fete are like brasse: And vnto the messenger of the cōgregacion of Theatira write. This sayth the sonne of God/ which hath his eyes lyke vnto a flāme of fyre/ whose fete are lyke brasse: And vnto the angell of the cōgregacion of Theatira write: This saith the sonne of God, which hath his eyes lyke vnto a flame of fyre, whose fete are like brasse:
2:19 I knowe thy workſ and thy love/ service/ and fayght/ and paciēce/ and thy dedes/ which are mooe at the laste then att the fyrste: I knowe thy workes & thy love/ service/ and fayth/ and thy paciēce/ & thy dedes/ which are mo at the last then at the fyrste. I knowe thy workes & thy loue/ seruice/ and fayth/ and thy paciēce/ & thy dedes/ which are mo at the last then at the fyrst. 2:20 Notwithstondinge I have a feawe thyngſ agaynste the/ that thou sofferest that woman Iesabell/ which called her sylfe a prophetes to teache and to deceave my servauntſ/ to make them commyt fornicacion/ ād to eate meatſ offered vppe vnto ydollſ. Notwitstondinge I haue a feawe thinges agaynst the/ that thou sofferest that woman Iesabel/ which called her selfe a Prophetes/ to teache & to deceaue my seruauntes/ to make them cōmit fornicacion/ & to eate meates offered vp vnto ydoles. Not withstondinge I haue a feawe thinges agaynst the, that thou sufferest that woman Iesabell (which called her selfe a prophetisse) to teache and to deceaue my seruauntes, to make them committ fornicacion, and to eate meates offered vp vnto ydoles.
2:21 And I gave her space to repent off her fornicacion and she repented not. And I gave her space to repent of her fornicacion & she repented not. And I gaue her space to repent of her fornicaciō/ & she repented not. And I gaue her space to repēt of her fornicacion, and she repented not.
2:22 Beholde I will caste her into a beed/ and them that cōmyt fornicacion with her into gret adversite/ excepte they repent of their deades. Beholde I will caste her into a beed/ & them yt commyt fornicacion wt her into gret adversite/ excepte they tourne frō their deades. Beholde/ I will caste her into a beed/ & them that cōmit fornicaciō with her/ into gret aduersitie/ excepte they tourne from their deades. Beholde, I wil cast her into a bed, and them that commit fornicacion with her, in to gret aduersite, excepte they turne from their dedes.
2:23 And I will kyll her children with deeth. And all the congregacions shall knowe that I am he which searcheth the reynes ād hertes. And I will geve vnto every one of you accordynge vnto youre workſ. And I will kyll her children with deeth. And all the congregacions shall knowe that I am he which searcheth ye reynes and hertes. And I will geve vnto evere one of you accordynge vnto youre workes. And I will kyll her chyldren with deeth. And all the congregacions shall knowe that I am he which searcheth the reynes and hertes. And I will geue vnto euery one of you accordinge vnto youre workes. And I wil kyll her childrē with deeth. And all the cōgregaciōs shal knowe, yt I am he which searcheth the reynes and hertes. And I wil geue vnto euery one of you acordynge vnto youre workes.

2:26 and whosoever overcommeth and kepeth my workſ vnto the ende/ to hyme will I geve power over naciōs/ & whosoever overcōmeth and kepeth my workſ vnto the ende/ to hym will I geve power over naciōs/ & whosoeuer ouercōmeth and kepeth my workes vnto the ende/ to him will I geue power ouer nacions/ and whosoeuer ouercōmeth and kepeth my workes vnto ye ende, to him wil I geue power ouer nacions,
2:27 and he shall rule them with a rodde of yeron: and as the vessels off a potter/ shall he breake them ho shevers. Evyn as I receaved off my father. & he shall rule them with a rodde of yron: & as the vessels of a potter/ shall he breake them to shevers. 2:28 And I will geve hī the mornynge starre. euē so will I geve him ye mornynge starre. so will I geue him the morninge starre. so wil I geue him ye mornynge starre.
