2:1 IF there be amonge you eny cōsolacion in Christ/ yf there be eny comfortable love/ yf there be eny fellishippe of the sprete/ yff there be eny compassion or mercy/ IF ther be amōge you eny consolacion in Christ/ yf ther be eny cōfortable love/ yf there be eny fellishippe of the sprete/ yf ther be eny cōpassion or mercy: IF ther be amōge you eny consolaciō in Christ/ yf ther be eny confortable loue/ yf ther be eny fellyshippe of the sprete/ yf ther be eny cōpassion or mercy: YF there be amonge you eny consolacion in Christ, yf there be eny comforte of loue, yf there be eny fellishippe off the sprete, yf there be eny compassion and mercy,
2:2 fulfill my ioye/ that ye drawe one waye/ havynge one love/ beynge of one acorde/ and of one mynde/ fulfyll my ioye/ that ye drawe one waye/ havinge one love/ beynge of one accorde/ and of one mynde/ fulfill my ioye/ that ye drawe one waye/ hauinge one loue/ beynge of one accorde/ & of one mynde/ fulfyll my ioye, that ye drawe one waye, hauynge one loue, beynge of one accorde, and of one mynde:
2:3 that nothynge be done thorowe stryfe or vayne glory/ but in meknes of mynde. Let every person thynke every other man better then hym silfe/ that nothinge be done thorow stryfe or vayne glory/ but that in mekenes of mynde every man esteme other better then him selfe/ that nothinge be done thorow stryfe or vayne glory/ but that in mekenes of mynde euery mā esteme other better then him selfe/ that there be nothinge done thorow stryfe and vayne glory, but that thorow mekenesse of mynde euery man esteme another better then himselfe:
2:4 so that ye considre every man/ not what is in hym silfe: But what is in wother men. & that no man consyder his awne/ but what is mete for other. & loke not euery man on his awne thinges/ but euery man on the thinges of other men. and let euery mā loke not for his awne profet, but for the profet of other.
2:5 Let the same mynde be in you the which was in Christ Iesu: Let the same mynde be in you that was in Christ Iesu: Let the same mynde be in you that was in Christ Iesu: Let the same mynde be in you, that was in Christ Iesu:
2:6 Which beynge in the shape off god/ and thought it not robbery to be equall with god. Which beynge in the shape of god/ and thought it not robbery to be equall with god. which beīge in the shape of God/ & thought it not robbery to be equall with God. which beyinge in the shappe of God, thought it not robbery to be equall with God,
2:7 Neverthelesse he made hym silfe of no reputacion/ and toke on hym the shape of a servaunte/ and becam lyke vnto men/ Neverthelesse he made him silfe of no reputacion/ and toke on him the shape of a servaunte/ & became lyke vnto men/ Neuerthelesse he made him selfe of no reputacion/ & toke on him the shape of a seruaunte/ & became lyke vnto men/ but made him selfe of no reputacion, and toke vpon him the shappe of a seruaunt, became like another man,
2:8 and was founde in his aparell as a man. He humbled hym silfe and becam obedient vnto the deeth/ even the deeth of the crosse. and was founde in his aparell as a man. 2:9 Wherfore God hath exalted hym/ and geven hym a name above all names: Wherfore god hath exalted him/ and gevē him a name above all names: Wherfore God hath exalted him & geuē him a name aboue all names: Therfore hath God also exalted him, and geuen him a name, which is aboue all names,
2:10 that in the name off Iesus shulde every knee bowe/ both of thyngſ in heven/ and thyngſ in erth and thyngſ vnder erth/ that in the name of Iesus shuld every knee bowe/ bothe of thingſ in hevē & thinges in erth & thingſ vnder erth/ that in the name of Iesus shulde euery knee bowe/ bothe of thinges in heauē & thinges in erth & thinges vnder the erth/ that in the name of Iesus euery kne shulde bowe, both of thinges in heauen of thinges vpō earth, and of thinges vnder the earth,
2:11 and that all tonges shulde confesse that Iesus Christ is the lorde vnto the prayse of god the father. and that all tonges shuld confesse that Iesus Christ is the lorde vnto the prayse of God the father. & that all tōges shulde confesse that Iesus Christ is the Lorde/ vnto the prayse of God the father. and that all tunges shulde confesse, that Iesus Christ is the LORDE vnto the prayse of God the father.
2:12 Wherfore my dearly beloved/ as ye have always obeyed/ not when I was present only/ but nowe moche more in myn absence/ even so performe youre owne health with feare and tremblynge. Wherfore my dearly beloved/ as ye have always obeyed/ not when I was present only/ but now moche more in myne absence/ even so worke out youre awne saluaciō with feare & tremblynge. Wherfore my dearly beloued/ as ye haue alwayes obeyed/ not whē I was present only/ but now moche more in myne absence/ euen so worke out youre awne saluaciō with feare & trēbling. Wherfore my dearly beloued, as ye haue allwayes obeyed (not onely in my presence, but now also moch more in my absence) euen so worke out youre awne saluacion with feare and tremblynge.
2:13 For it is god which worketh ī you/ both the will and also the dede/ even of good will. For it is god which worketh in you/ both ye will & also ye dede/ evē of good will For it is god which worketh in you/ both the will & also the dede euē of good will. For it is God which worketh in you both the wyll and the deed, euen of his owne good wyll.
2:14 Do all thynge with out murmurynge and disputynge/ Do all thynge with out murmurynge & disputynge/ Do all thinge with out murmuringe & disputinge/ Do all thinges without murmurynges and disputinges,
2:15 that ye maye be faule lesse/ and pure/ and the sonnes of God/ with out rebuke/ in the middes of a croked/ and a perverse nacion/ amōge which se that ye shyne as lightes in the worlde/ that ye maye be faute lesse and pure/ and the sonnes of God with out rebuke/ in ye middes of a croked & a perverse nacion/ amonge which se that ye shyne as lightes in the worlde/ that ye maye be fautelesse & pure/ & the sonnes of God without rebuke in the middes of a croked & peruerse naciō: amōge which se that ye shyne as lyghtes in the worlde/ that ye maye be fautles and pure, and the childrē of God without rebuke, in the myddes of ye croked and peruerse nacion, amonge whom se that ye shyne as lightes in the worlde,
2:16 holdīge fast the worde of lyfe/ vnto my reioysynge in the daye of Christ/ that I have not rūne in vayne/ nether have labored in vayne. holdinge fast the worde of lyfe/ vnto my reioysynge in ye daye of Christ/ that I have not runne in vayne/ nether have labored in vayne. holdinge faste the worde of lyfe/ vnto my reioysinge in the daye of Christ/ that I haue not rūne in vayne/ nether haue labored in vayne. holdinge fast the worde of life, vnto my reioysinge in the daye of Christ, that I haue not runne in vayne, nether laboured in vayne.
2:17 Yee and though I be offered vppe on youre sacrifice and youre servinge of god in the fayth: I reioyce and reioyce with you all. Yee & though I be offered vp vpon the offerynge and sacrifice of youre fayth: I reioyce/ and reioyce with you all. Yee & though I be offered vp vpon the offeringe & sacrifice of youre fayth: I reioyce/ and reioyce with you all. Yee and though I be offred vp vpō the offerynge & sacrifice of youre faith, I am glad, and reioyce with you all:
2:18 For the same cause also/ reioyce ye/ and reoyce ye with me. For the same cause also/ reioyce ye/ and reioyce ye with me. For the same cause also/ reioyce ye/ and reioyce ye with me. be ye glad also, and reioyce ye with me.
2:19 I trust in the lorde Iesus forto sende Timotheus shortly/ vnto you/ that I also maye be off good cōforte/ when I knowe what case ye stonde in. I trust in the lorde Iesus for to sende Timotheus shortly vnto you/ that I also maye be of good comforte/ when I knowe what case ye stonde in. I trust in the Lorde Iesus for to sende Timotheus shortly vnto you/ that I also maye be of good comforte/ when I knowe what case ye stonde in. 2:20 For I have no man that is so lyke mynded to me/ which with so pure affeccion careth for youre matters. For I have nomā that is so lyke mynded to me/ which with so pure affecciō careth for youre matters. For I haue nomā that is so lyke mynded to me/ which with so pure affeccion careth for youre matters. For I haue noman that is so like mynded to me, which with so pure affecciō careth for you:
2:21 For all wother seke their awne/ and not that which is Iesus Christſ. For all other seke yt ir awne/ and not that which is Iesus Christſ For all other seke their awne/ and not that which is Iesus Christes. for all other seke their awne, not that which is Iesus Christes.
2:22 Ye knowe the proffe of hym/ howe that as a sonne with the father/ so with me bestowed he his labour apō the gospell. Ye knowe the proffe of him/ howe that as a sone with the father/ so with me bestowed he his labour apon the gospell. Ye knowe the proffe of him/ how that as a sonne with the father/ so with me bestowed he his labour vpon the gospell. But ye knowe the profe of him: for as a childe vnto the father, so hath he mynistred vnto me in the Gospell.
2:23 Hym trust I to sende as sone as I knowe howe it will go with me. Him I hope to sende assone as I knowe how it will go with me. Him I hope to sende assone as I knowe how it will go with me. Him I hope to sende, as soone as I knowe how it wyll go with me.
2:24 I trust in the lorde that I also my silfe shall come shortly. I trust in the lorde I also my silfe shall come shortly. I trust in the Lorde/ that I also my selfe shall come shortly. But I trust in the LORDE, that I also my selfe shal come shortly.
2:25 I supposed it necessary to sende brother Epaphroditus vnto you/ my companion in laboure and feowelsodier/ youre Apostle/ and my minister at my nedes. I supposed it necessary to sende brother Epaphroditus vnto you/ my companion in laboure & felowe soudier/ youre Apostel and my minister at my nedes. I supposed it necessary to sende brother Epaphroditus vnto you/ my cōpanion in laboure & felowe soudier/ youre Apostel & my minister at my nedes. Neuertheles I thoughte it necessary to sende vnto you the brother Ephraditus, which is my companyon in laboure and felowe soudyer, and youre Apostell, and my mynister at my nede,
2:26 For he longed after you/ and was full off hevines/ be cause that ye had herde saye that he shulde be sicke/ For he longed after you and was full of hevines/ because that ye had hearde saye that he shuld be sicke. For he longed after you/ & was full of heuines/ because that ye had hearde saye that he shulde be sicke. for so moch as he longed after you all, and was full of heuynes, because ye had herde that he was sicke.
2:27 and no doute he was sicke/ and that neye vnto deeth/ but god had mercy on hym: not on hym only/ but one me also/ lest I shulde have had sorowe opon sorowe. And no doute he was sicke/ and that nye vnto deeth. But god had mercy on him: not on him only/ but on me also/ lest I shuld have had sorowe apon sorowe. And no doute he was sicke/ & that nye vnto deeth. But god had mercy on him: not on him only/ but on me also lest I shuld haue sorowe vpon sorowe. And no doute he was sicke, and that nye vnto death: but God had mercy on him, and not on him onely, but on me also, lest I shulde haue had sorowe vpon sorowe.
2:28 I sent hym therfore the diligentliar/ that whē ye shulde se hym/ ye myght reioyce agayne/ and I myght be the lesse sorowfull. 2:30 be canse that for the worke off Christ he went so farre/ that he was nye vnto deeth/ and regarded not his lyfe/ to fulfill that service which was lakynge on youre parte towarde me. because that for ye worke of Christ he went so farre/ that he was nye vnto deeth/ and regarded not his lyfe/ to fulfill that service which was lackynge on youre parte towarde me. because that for the worke of Christ he went so farre/ that he was nye vnto deeth/ & regarded not his lyfe/ to fulfill that seruice which was lackinge on youre parte towarde me. for because of the worke of Christ, he wente so farre, that he came nye vnto death, and regarded not his life, to fulfyll that seruyce which was lackynge on youre parte towarde me.
