And when thou prayest/ thou shalt not be as the ypocrites are. For they loue to stond and praye in the synagoges/ and in the corners of the stretes/ because they wolde be sene of men. Verely I saye vnto you/ they haue their rewarde. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as ye ypocrytes are. For they loue to stōde and praye in the synagoges, and in the corners of the stretes, to be sene of men. Verely I saie vnto you: they haue their rewarde.

But when thou prayest, entre in to thy chamber, and shut thy dore to the, & praye to thy father which is in secrete: and thy father which seith in secrete, shall rewarde the openly.
6:7 But when ye praye/ bable not moche/ as the gentyls do: for they thincke that they shalbe herde/ ffor there moche bablyngſ sake. And whē ye praye/ bable not moche/ as the hethē do: for they thincke that they shalbe herde/ for their moche bablyngſ sake. And when ye praye/ bable not moche/ as the hethen do: for they thincke that they shalbe herde/ for their moche bablynges sake. And when ye praye, bable not moch, as ye Hethen do: for they thinke that they shalbe herde, for their moch bablynges sake.
6:8 Be ye not lyke them there fore. For youre father knoweth wherof ye have neade/ be fore ye axe off him. Be ye not lyke them therfore. For youre father knoweth wherof ye haue neade/ before ye axe of him. Be ye not lyke them therfore. For youre father knoweth wherof ye haue neade/ before ye axe of him. Be not ye lyke them therfore. After thys maner therfore praye ye. O oure father which arte in heuen/ halowed be thy name. After thys maner therfore shall ye praye: O oure father which art in heauen, halowed be thy name.
6:10 Let thy kingdō come. Thy wyll be fulfilled/ as well in erth/ as hit ys in heven. Let thy kyngdome come. Thy wyll be fulfilled/ as well in erth/ as it ys in heven. Let thy kyngdome come. Thy will be fulfilled/ as wel in erth/ as it is in heven. Thy kyngdome come. Thy wyll be fulfilled vpon earth as it is in heauen.
6:11 Geve vs this daye oure dayly breade. Geve vs this daye oure dayly breede. Geue vs this daye oure dayly breede. Geue vs this daye oure dayly bred.
6:12 And forgeve vs oure treaspases/ evē as we forgeve thē which treaspas vs. And forgeve vs oure treaspases/ evē as we forgeve oure trespacers. And forgeue vs oure treaspases/ euen as we forgeue oure trespacers. And forgeue vs oure dettes, as we also forgeue oure detters.
6:13 Leede vs not in to temptacion. but delyvre vs ffrom yvell/ Amen. And leade vs not into tēptacion: but delyver vs frō evell. For thyne is ye kyngedome and ye power/ & ye glorye for ever. Amen. And leade vs not into temptacion: but delyuer vs from euyll. For thyne is the kyngedome and the power/ and the glorye for euer. Amen. And lede vs not in to tēptacion: but delyuer vs from euell. For thyne is the kyngdome, and the power, and the glorye for euer. Amen.
6:14 For ād yff ye shall forgeve other men there treaspases/ youre father ī hevē shal also forgeve you. For and yf ye shall forgeve other men their treaspases/ youre hevenly father shall also forgeve you. For and yf ye shall forgeue other men their treaspases/ youre heuenly father shall also forgeue you. For yf ye forgeue other men their treaspases, youre heauenly father shall also forgeue you.
6:15 but ād ye wyll not forgeve men there trespases/ nomore shall youre father forgeve youre treaspases. But and ye wyll not forgeve men their trespases/ nomore shall youre father forgeve youre treaspases. But and ye will not forgeue men their trespases/ nomore shall youre father forgeue youre treaspases. But and ye wyll not forgeue mē their trespases, nomore shall youre father forgeue you youre trespases.
6:16 Moreovre when ye faste/ be not sad as the ypocritſ are. For they disfigure there faces/ that hit myght apere vnto men that they faste. Verely y say vnto you/ they have there rewarde. Moreoure when ye faste/ be not sad as ye ypocrytſ are. For they disfigure their faces/ that they myght besene of mē how they faste. Verely I say vnto you/ they have their rewarde. Moreouer when ye faste/ be not sad as the ypocrites are. For they disfigure their faces/ that they myght besene of men how they faste. Verely I say vnto you/ they haue their rewarde. Moreouer when ye fast, be not sad as ye ypocrytes are. For they disfigure their faces, that they myght be sene of men to fast. Verely I saye vnto you: they haue their rewarde.
6:17 But thou/ whē thou fastest/ añoynte thyne heed/ ād washe thy face/ But thou/ whē thou fastest/ annoynte thyne heed/ and washe thy face/ But thou/ when thou fastest/ annoynte thyne heed/ and washe thy face/ But thou, whē thou fastest, annoynte thyne heed, and wash thy face,
6:18 that it appere nott vnto men howe that thou fastest: but vnto thy father which is in secrete. and thy father wpich seith in secret/ shall rewarde the openly. that it appere not vnto men howe that thou fastest: but vnto thy father which is in secrete: & thy father which seeth in secret/ shall rewarde the openly. that it appere not vnto men howe that thou fastest: but vnto thy father which is in secrete: and thy father which seeth in secrete/ shall rewarde the openly. that it appeare not vnto men, that thou fastest: but vnto thy father which is in secrete: and thy father which seyth in secrete, shal rewarde the openly.
6:19 Gaddre not treasure together on erth/ where rust ād mothes corrupte/ and where theves breake through and steale. Se that ye gaddre you not treasure vpon ye erth/ where rust & mothes corrupte/ & where theves breake through and steale. Se that ye gaddre you not treasure vpon the erth/ where rust and mothes corrupte/ and where theues breake through and steale. Se that ye gather you not treasure vpon the earth, where rust and mothes corrupte, and where theues breake through and steale.
6:20 But gaddre ye treasure togedder in heven/ where nether rust/ nor mothes corupe. ād wher theves nether breake vp/ nor yet steale. But gaddre ye treasure togeder in hevē/ where nether rust nor mothes corrupte/ & where theves nether breake vp nor yet steale. But gaddre ye treasure together in heuen where nether rust nor mothes corrupte/ and where theves nether breake vp nor yet steale. But gather you treasure together in heauen, where nether rust nor mothes corrupte, and where theues nether breake vp nor yet steale.
6:21 For wheare soever youre treasure ys/ there are youre hertes also. For where soever youre treasure ys/ there will youre hertes be also For where soeuer youre treasure is/ there will youre hertes be also. For where youre treasure is, there is youre herte also.
6:22 The light off thy body is thyne eye. Wherfore if thyne eye be single/ all thy body ys full of light The light of the body is thyne eye. Wher fore if thyne eye besyngle/ all thy body shalbe full of light. The lyght of the body is thyne eye. Wherfore yf thyne eye be syngle all thy body shalbe full of lyght. The eye is the light of the body. Yf thyne eye then be syngle, all thy body shalbe ful of light:
6:23 But ād if thyne eye be wycked/ thē is all thy body full of dercknes. Where fore yf the light that is ī the be dercknes: howe greate ys that dercknes? But and if thyne eye be wycked then all thy body shalbe full of derckenes. Wherfore yf the light that is in the/ be darckenes. how greate is that darckenes. But and yf thyne eye be wycked then all thy body shalbe full of derckenes. Wherfore yf the lyght that is in the/ be darckenes: how greate is that darckenes. But and yf thyne eye be wycked, all thy body shalbe full of darckenes: Wherfore yf the light that is in the, be darckenes, how greate then shall that darckenes be?
6:24 No man can serve two masters. For other he shall hate the one/ ād love the other: or els he shall lene the one/ ād despise the other. Ye cā nott serve God and māmon. No mā can serve two masters. For ether he shall hate the one & love the other: or els he shall lene to ye one & despise ye other: ye can not serve God & mammon. No man can serue two mastres. For ether he shall hate the one and loue the other: or els he shall lene to the one and despise the other: ye cannot serue God and mammon. No mā can serue two masters. For ether he shall hate the one and loue the other: or els he shall leane to the one, and despise the other: Ye can not serue God and mammon.
6:25 Therefore I saye vnto you/ be not carefull for youre lyfe/ what ye shall eate/ or what ye shall dryncke/ nor yet for youre boddy/ what raymēt ye shall weare. Ys not the lyfe more worth then meate? and the boddy more off value then rayment? Therfore I saye vnto you/ be not carefull for your lyfe/ what ye shall eate/ or what ye shall drincke/ nor yet for youre body/ what ye shall put on. ys not ye lyfe more worth then meate/ & the body more of value then raymeut? Therfore I saye vnto you/ be not carefull for youre lyfe/ what ye shall eate/ or what ye shall drincke/ nor yet for youre body/ what ye shall put on. Is not the lyfe more worth then meat/ and the body more of value then rayment? Therfore I saye vnto you: be not ye carefull for your lyfe, what ye shall eate, or what ye shall drinke: nor yet for youre body, what ye shal put on. Ys not the lyfe more worth thē meate, and the body more of value then raymēt?
6:26 Beholde the foules of the aier: for they sowe not/ neder reepe/ nor yet cary into the barnes/ and yett youre hevenly father fedeth then. Are ye not better then they? Beholde the foules of ye ayer: for they sowe not/ nether reepe/ nor yet cary in to ye barnes: & yet youre hevēly father fedeth thē. Are ye not moche better thē they? Beholde the foules of ye ayer: for they sowe not/ nether reepe/ nor yet cary into the barnes: and yet youre heuenly father fedeth them. Are ye not moche better then they? Beholde the foules of ye ayer: for they sowe not, nether reepe, nor yet cary in to the barnes: and yet youre heauēly father fedeth thē. Are ye not moch better thē they?
6:27 Whiche off you (though he toke tought there fore) coulde put one cubit vnto his stature? Which of you (though he toke thought therfore) coulde put one cubit vnto his stature? Which of you (though he toke thought therfore) coulde put one cubit vnto his stature? Which of you (though he toke thought therfore) coulde put one cubit vnto his stature?
6:28 And why care ye then for raymēt? Beholde the lyles off the felde/ howe thy growe/ They labour not nether spyñ/ And why care ye then for raymēt? Considre ye lylies of ye felde/ how they growe. They labour not nether spynne. And why care ye then for rayment? Consydre the lylies of the felde/ how they growe. They labour not nether spynne. why care ye then for rayment? Considre the lylies of the felde, how they growe. They laboure not, nether spynne.
6:29 And yet for all that I saie vnto you that even Solomon in all his royalte/ was nott arayed lyke vnto one of these. And yet for all yt I saye vnto you/ yt euē Salomon in all his royalte was not arayed lyke vnto one of these. And yet for all that I saye vnto you/ that euen Salomon in all his royalte was not arayed lyke vnto one of these. And yet for all that I saye vnto you, that euen Salomon in all his royalte was not arayed lyke vnto one of these.
6:30 Wherfore yf God so clothe the grasse/ which ys to daye in the felde and to morowe shalbe cast īto the fournace: shall he not moche more do the same vnto you/ o ye off lytle fayth? Wherfore yf God so clothe the grasse/ which ys to daye in the felde/ & to morowe shalbe caste in to the fournace: shall he not moche more do the same vnto you/ o ye of lytle fayth? Wherfore yf God so clothe the grasse/ which ys to daye in the felde/ and to morowe shalbe caste in to the fournace/ shall he not moche more do the same vnto you/ o ye of lytle fayth? Wherfore yf God so cloth the grasse, which is to daye in the felde, and to morowe shalbe cast in to the fornace: shal he not moch more do the same vnto you, o ye of lytle fayth?
6:31 Therfore take no thought saynge: what shall we eate/ or what shall we dryncke/ or where with shall we be clothed Therfore take no thought sayinge: what shall we eate/ or what shall we drincke/ or wher wt shall we be clothed? Therfore take no thought sayinge: what shall we eate/ or what shall we drinke/ or wher with shall we be clothed? Therfore take no thought, sayinge: what shall we eate, or what shall we drinke? or where with shall we be clothed?
6:32 (Aftre all these thyngſ seke the gētyls) For youre hevēly father knoweth that ye have neade off all these thyngſ. After all these thyngſ seke the gētyls. For youre hevēly father knoweth that ye have neade of all these thyngſ. After all these thinges seke the gentyls. For youre heuenly father knoweth that ye haue neade of all these thynges. After all soch thynges do the heithen seke. For youre heauenly father knoweth, that ye haue nede of all these thynges.
6:33 But rather seke ye fyrst the kyngdom off heven/ and the rightewesnes ther of/ and all these thyngſ shalbe ministred vnto you. But rather seke ye fyrst the kyngdome of heuen & the rightwisnes therof/ and all these thynges shalbe ministred vnto you. But rather seke ye fyrst the kyngdome of heuē and the rightewisnes therof/ and all these thinges shalbe ministred vnto you. Seke ye fyrst the kyngdome of heauen and the righteousnes therof, so shal all these thynges be ministred vnto you.
6:34 Care not therfore for the daye foloynge. For the daye foloynge shall care ffor yt sylfe. Eche dayes trouble ys sufficient for the same silfe day. Care not then for the morow/ but let ye morow care for it selfe: for the daye present hath ever ynough of his awne trouble. Care not then for the morow/ but let the morow care for it selfe: for the daye present hath euer ynough of his awne trouble. Care not then for the morow, for the morow shall care for it self: Euery daye hath ynough of his owne trauayll.
