5:1 REbuke not a seniour: but exhorte hym as a father/ and the yonger men as brethren/ REbuke not an elder: but exhorte him as a father/ and the yonger mē as brethren/ REbuke not an elder: but exhorte him as a father/ & the yonger men as brethren/ REbuke not an Elder, but exhorte him as a father: and the yōger men as brethren:
5:2 the edler wemen as mothers/ the yonger as sisters/ with all purenes. the elder wemen as mothers/ ye yonger as sisters/ with all purenes. the elder wemen as mothers/ the yonger as systers/ with all purenes. the elder wemen as mothers: the yonger as sisters with all purenes.
5:3 Honoure widdowes which are true wyddowes. Honoure widdowes which are true wyddowes. Honoure wyddowes which are true wyddowes. Honor wedowes, which are true wedowes.
5:4 Yf eny wyddowe have children or neveus/ let them learne fyrst to ruele their owne houses godly/ and to recompence their elders. For that is good and exceptable before God. 5:5 She that is a very wyddowe/ and frendlesse/ putteth her trust ī god/ ād continueth ī supplicaciō and prayer nyght and daye: She that is a very wyddowe and frendlesse/ putteth her trust in god/ and continueth in supplicacion and prayer nyght and daye. But she that is a right wedowe, & desolate, putteth hir trust in God, & cōtynueth in prayer and supplicacion nighte and daye.

5:7 And suche thyngſ commaūde/ that they maye be without faut. And these thynges commaunde/ that they maye be without faut/ And these thinges commaunde/ that they maye be without faute. And these thinges commaunde, that they maye be without blame.
5:8 Yf there be eny that provideth not for his owne/ and namly for them of his housholde the same denyeth the fayth/ ād is worsse thē an infydell. 5:9 Let no wyddowe be chosen vnder threscore yere olde/ and soche a wone as was the wyfe off one man/ Let no wyddowe be chosen vnder threscore yere olde/ and soche a one as was the wyfe of one man/ Let no wyddowe be chosen vnder threscore yere olde/ and soche a one as was the wyfe of one man/ Let no wedowe be chosen vnder threscore yeare olde, and soch one as was ye wife of one man,
5:10 and well reported off in good workes: yf she have noressed children/ yf she have bene liberall to straungers/ yf she have wesshed the saynctſ fete/ yf she have ministred vnto thē which were in adversitie/ yf she were continually gevē vnto all maner good workſ. and well reported of in good workes: yf she have noresshed children/ yf she have bene liberall to straūgers/ yf she have wesshed the saynctes fete/ yf she have ministred vnto them which were in adversite/ yf she were continually gevē vnto all maner good workes. and well reported of in good workes: yf she haue norisshed chyldren/ yf she haue bene liberall to straūgers/ yf she haue wesshed the saynctes fete/ yf she haue ministred vnto them which were in aduersitie/ yf she were continually geuē vnto all maner good workes. and well reported of in good workes, yf she haue brought vp children well, yf she haue bene harberous, yf she haue wasshed the sayntes fete, yf she haue mynistred vnto thē which were in aduersite, yf she were continually geuen to all maner of good workes.
5:11 The yonger widdowes refuse. For when they have begonne to wexe wantā/ to the dishonoure of Christ/ then will they mary/ The yonger widdowes refuse. For whan they haue begonne to waxe wanton agaynst Christ, then wil they mary,
5:12 havynge damnacion/ be cause they have despised their fyrst fayth. havynge damnaciō/ because they have brokē their fyrst fayth. hauinge damnaciō/ betause they haue brokē their fyrst fayth. hauynge their damnacion, because they haue brokē ye first faith.
5:13 And also they learne to goo from housse to housse ydle/ ye not ydle only/ but also tryflynge and busy bodies/ speakynge thyngſ which are not comly. And also they learne to goo from housse to housse ydle/ ye not ydle only/ but also tryflynge and busybodyes/ speakynge thynges which are not comly. 5:14 I will therfore that the yonger wemen mary and beare children/ and gyde the housse/ and geve none occasiō to the adversary to speake evyll. I will therfore that ye yonger wemē mary and beare childrē/ and gyde the housse/ and geve none occasiō to ye adversary to speake evill I will therfore that the yonger wemē mary and beare chyldrē/ and gyde the housse/ & geue none occasion to the aduersary to speake euyll. I wil therfore that the yonger wemen mary, beare children, gyde the house, to geue ye aduersary no occasion to speake euell.

5:16 And yf eny mā or womā that beleveth have widdowes/ lett them minister vnto them/ and let not the congregaciō be charged: that hytt maye have sufficient for them that are widdowes in dede. And yf eny man or woman that beleveth have widdowes/ let thē minister vnto them/ & let not the congregacion be charged: that yt maye have sufficient for them that are widdowes in dede. And yf eny man or woman that beleueth haue widdowes/ let them minister vnto them/ & let not the congregacion be charged: that ye maye haue sufficiēt for them that are wyddowes in dede. Yf eny man or woman that beleueth haue wedowes, let them make prouysion for thē, and let not the congregacion be charged: that they which are righte wedowes, maye haue ynough.
5:17 The seniours that rule wele are worthy of double honoure/ most specially they which laboure ī the worde ād in teachynge. The elders yt rule wel/ are worthy of double honoure/ most specially they which laboure in ye worde & in teachinge. The elders that rule well/ are worthy of double honoure/ most specially they which laboure in the worde & in teaching. 5:18 For the scripture sayth: Thou shalt not musell the mouth of the oxe that treadeth out the corne. And the labourer is worthy of his rewarde. 5:19 Agaynst a senioure receave none accusaciō: but vnder two or thre witnesses. Agaynst an elder receave none accusacion: but vnder two or thre witnesses. 5:21 I testifie before god/ and the lorde Iesus Christ/ and the elect angels/ that thou observe these thyngſ with out hasty iudgement/ and do nothīge parcially. 5:22 Laye hondes sodenly on no mā nether be part taker of wother mēs synnes. Kepe thy silfe pure. Laye hondes sodēly on no man nether be partaker of other mēs synnes: kepe thy silfe pure. Lykwise also good workes are manifest before hōde & they that are other wyse/ cānot be hyd. Likewyse also good workes are manifest afore hāde: and they that are other wyse can not be hyd.
